His ability to extend broken plays creates unique stack opportunities with his primary wideouts. We have to be on the watch for Justin Jefferson, who is dealing with an ankle injury. Not that we wouldn’t use Murray if Jetta was out, but we also won’t be as bullish on him if he is.

Running Backs

  • Christian McCaffrey (San Francisco 49ers): Despite San Francisco managing his overall touches to 11.7 carries per game to keep him fresh, McCaffrey is still averaging a lethal 4.7 yards per carry and a 5.6 yards-per-touch mark. His elite efficiency in the passing game makes him a top-tier PPR staple. If we can’t have Jahmyr Gibbs on the slate, at least we know CMC is available, if we can afford him.
  • Derrick Henry (Baltimore Ravens): Henry remains an unstoppable force in positive game scripts. His goal-line conversion rate gives him unmatched raw multi-touchdown upside. At some point we’ll all stop asking when the slow-down is occurring and just focus on what he is delivering to us right now.
  • Bucky Irving (Tampa Bay Buccaneers): Irving's expanding pass-catching role and high tackle-breaking metrics make him a prime mid-tier option on DraftKings. We thought it would be Kenneth Gainwell, but Bucky is getting the run. With Jalon Daniels under center this week, we expect to see a heavier lean on the ground game by Tampa.

Wide Receivers

  • Michael Wilson (Arizona Cardinals): Coming off a monster Week 3 (25.90 on DK/20.40 on FD), Wilson continues to run routes on nearly every drop-back. His deep-threat ability pairs smoothly with Jacoby Brissett’s huck-it, chuck-it style and with Marvin Harrison falling out of favor in Arizona, we can expect strong volume. 
  • Zay Flowers (Baltimore Ravens): Even with missing Week 2 due to a hamstring injury and “supposedly” being limited in Week 3, Flowers leads Baltimore in target share and yards-after-catch capability, providing a steady PPR floor with weekly touchdown upside. He will continue to be leaned on this week, especially assuming he is off the injury report.
  • CeeDee Lamb (Dallas Cowboys): Lamb commands elite target volume week in and week out. Stacking him alongside Prescott forms the bedrock of high-ceiling cash and GPP builds. At some point, George Pickens will have his breakout game, but against the Texans this week, we’ll continue to lean on Lamb. More mint jelly as the GM always says.
  • Malik Nabers (New York Giants): Hopefully the weather remains more neutral this week as the Giants host the Arizona Cardinals, who, according to DVOA numbers, struggle to contain the opposing WR1. Nabers’ high-target efficiency should stand strong in this matchup, despite some of Jameis Winston’s current struggles. If the targets sit in double-digits this week, we could have a slate-breaking option at our disposal.
  • Parker Washington (Jacksonville Jaguars): Washington operates as a reliable slot option, offering affordable entry into Jacksonville's passing attack. The Bengals secondary has improved, but as we’ve seen over the first few weeks, they struggle in coverage across the middle of the field, and Washington, out of the slot, will further expose it.

Tight Ends

  • Brenton Strange (Jacksonville Jaguars): Strange provides dirt-cheap TE relief, benefiting from increased snap counts and route participation in two-tight-end packages. After allowing a total of 97 yards on five catches to the Pittsburgh tight ends, the Bengals have now allowed almost 300 yards to the position over the first three games.
  • Isaiah Likely (New York Giants): Likely’s athletic profile allows him to line up in the slot and out wide, giving him big-play potential at a discount. He saw 10 targets last week from Jameis Winston, and we expect him to remain the No. 2 target in the Giants' passing attack.
  • Travis Kelce (Kansas City Chiefs): Kelce remains Patrick Mahomes' most trusted safety valve, maintaining a higher floor than nearly anyone at the position. While we don’t want to get over our skis with talk of vintage Kelce, it’s tough not to look to him as a major DFS player each and every week. The Raiders have struggled over the middle, so look for another dominant effort.

Every player highlighted in the DraftKings section above is firmly in-play for FanDuel contests as well. Montgomery operates in Houston's full-drive rotation backfield, giving him uninterrupted drive continuity and clean red-zone access. Even though it’s early in the year and we still crave more data, the DVOA coverage numbers for the Jaguars indicate their coverage against the opposing WR2 is their weakness.
  • Jake Ferguson (Dallas Cowboys): Ferguson’s high-volume usage inside the 20-yard line makes him an affordable, high-ceiling tight end stack alongside Prescott. We like him on FanDuel more, obviously, because of the half-point PPR scoring.
