As always, we have our main waiver article that covers every position at the surface level. But Fantasy Alarm members often play in deep leagues that require additional levels of research and nuance. That’s where this article comes in. We take things a step further to look at those deep streamers you might need to keep your team afloat. And we also look at the top stashes who might not be able to help us right now, but could contribute to a championship down the road!

Best Fantasy Football Streamers and Stashes For Week 14

What is a Streamer?

A streamer is a player that you can actually start in your lineup currently. They might not be the flashiest players, but they won’t get you a zero. In deeper leagues with a lot of starting spots, you may need to call on them from time to time - especially when bye weeks and injuries come around.

What is a Stash?

The stashes are players that have appealing upside for one reason or another, but aren’t reliable guys you can start now. Maybe they are injured, and you can put them in an IR spot. Maybe they are handcuffs that could have big upside if the starter gets hurt. Maybe they are rookies who need time to develop and carve out a role. Whatever it is, we want to keep an eye on them. And stash them on deep benches.

NFL Week 14 Quarterback Streamers

Trevor Lawrence  - Jacksonville Jaguars Yahoo: 49% | ESPN: 15% | Sleeper: 43%

The cat is out of the bag on Jacoby Brissett. So he’s no longer available for us to stream, as he has been the last few weeks in this article. The next best thing is going to be Trevor Lawrence going up against the Tennessee Titans, though he may be rostered in a good chunk of leagues already as well.

Marcus Mariota - Washington Commanders Yahoo: 10% | ESPN: 12% | Sleeper: 19%

The Commanders are now 3-8. They aren’t technically eliminated, but most sources give them a 1% or less chance of making the playoffs. So the idea of bringing a banged-up Jayden Daniels back becomes less and less appealing. This is a tough matchup for Mariota coming out of the bye week, but there are shockingly few guys on the wire that have any sort of floor - or the mobile upside Mariota has.

NFL Week 14 Quarterback Stashes

J.J. McCarthy - Minnesota Vikings Yahoo: 31% | ESPN: 30% | Sleeper: 23%

He’s got great weapons and a great schedule the rest of the way. Will he figure things out? Hard to say. But he is clearing concussion protocol and playing this week. So let’s see what that looks like.

Shedeur Sanders - Cleveland Browns Yahoo: 6% | ESPN: 5% | Sleeper: 14%

Two games into his career for the polarizing player isn’t enough to judge him. It’s more of a superflex-only play, but he’s the last bit of hope out there, really.

NFL Week 14 Running Back Streamers

Chris Rodriguez - Washington Commanders Yahoo: 18% | ESPN: 9% | Sleeper: 29%

Chris Rodriguez remains the starting running back for the Washington Commanders. He also gets the goal-line carries. Not sure why he hasn’t been picked up in more leagues, but he remains a guy you can stream who shouldn’t completely faceplant here. He’s the best option for standard or half PPR leagues.

Tyjae Spears - Tennessee Titans Yahoo: 18% | ESPN: 9% | Sleeper: 29%

In full PPR, we like Spears. Tony Pollard starts, but Spears is the pass-down back. And he plays more than Pollard at times in negative game scripts. Well, the Titans are terrible, so they are virtually always in negative game scripts. That’s why Spears has caught at least three passes in seven straight games. And he’s gotten at least five targets in three straight games.

NFL Week 14 Running Back Stashes

Devin Singletary - New York Giants Yahoo: 22% | ESPN: 29% | Sleeper: 44%

As we mentioned in the main article, Devin Singletary is our top stash right now to see if Tyrone Tracy’s injury is serious or not. The Giants are on bye, so we’ll have to wait at least a week to use Singletary if it works out.

Blake Corum RB - Los Angeles RamsYahoo: 16%| ESPN: 14% | Sleeper: 23%

It’s smart to handcuff your top back. So all those guys are on the table. But Blake Corum is quietly carving out a role of his own, so he could even be in “handcuff plus” territory if you need it in a pinch. So he’s a solid stash at a time when we really aren’t stashing much; we are focusing on playoff matchups.

NFL Week 14 Wide Receiver Streamers

Jayden Higgins - Houston Texans Yahoo: 35% | ESPN: 36% | Sleeper: 40%

Jayden Higgins is our top waiver wire add in the main article, and he’s our top streamer. He’s caught at least four passes in four straight - and he has the upside for more given his role in two WR sets in the redzone. So he’s the best streamer available in a lot of leagues right now.

Devaughn Vele - New Orleans Saints, Yahoo: 1% | ESPN: 1% | Sleeper: 3%

In those deeper leagues, you can look to Devaughn Vele for a stream. The Saints aren’t a great team, but Tyler Shough has proven he can at least move the football. With Rashid Shaheed and Brandin Cooks gone, Vele has gotten a bigger workload lately opposite Chris Olave. And he’s gotten 7 and 8 targets the last two weeks. So you could do worse in a pinch.

NFL Week 14 Wide Receiver Stashes

Jayden Higgins - Houston Texans Yahoo: 35% | ESPN: 36% | Sleeper: 40%

We just want to be clear that Jayden Higgins is our top waiver wire WR right now - across the board.

Pat Bryant - Denver Broncos, Yahoo: 2% | ESPN: 1% | Sleeper: 5%

There really isn’t too much time to be stashing wide receivers at this stage in the game. But, as we wrote in the main article, there’s reason to believe that Pat Bryant’s blocking ability may have seen him leapfrog Troy Franklin in the pecking order.  We’ve got one more game for fantasy playoffs for him to show he’s here to stay, so we’re stashing him for one week to see if it’s his time or if that was just a one-off.

Luther Burden - Chicago Bears, Yahoo: 11% | ESPN: 8% | Sleeper: 21%

This guy has been in this article all year basically, so why stop now? His role is growing, but it’s growing a little too slowly to really trust. We kind of need an injury to DJ Moore or Rome Odunze for it to truly be wheels up for Burden. So you don’t need to hold him if you need the spot for a second tight end or defense, or something.

NFL Week 14 Tight End Streamers

Darren Waller - Miami Dolphins Yahoo: 30% | ESPN: 20% | Sleeper: 37%

With this range, you need to decide if you want to go high risk, high reward, or play it safe. Darren Waller has a great matchup this week against the New York Jets, but it’s only his second game off injury. If you want to shoot for upside, this is the way.

Brenton Strange - Jacksonville Jaguars Yahoo: 33% | ESPN: 22% | Sleeper: 47%

Strange is your “safe but boring” play here, given his role within Liam Coen’s scheme. If you want to play things a little more conservatively and don’t trust Waller, this is the move. Both have good matchups the rest of the way.

NFL Week 14 Tight End Stashes

Darren Waller - Miami Dolphins Yahoo: 30% | ESPN: 20% | Sleeper: 37%

We really can’t afford to stash guys at this stage. We do a lot more matchup-based rankings from here on out, as you will see at the bottom of this article. But Waller is just coming back from injury, and he has a good schedule, so he’s a decent stash.

Harold Fannin Jr - Cleveland BrownsYahoo: 34% | ESPN: 48% | Sleeper: 55%

Harold Fannin has two bad matchups against the Titans this week and the Bills in Week 16. He has a good matchup vs. Chicago Week 15, though, and another vs. PIT the final week. He’s been the top target for Shedeur Sanders through two games, so he could help you if your starter has a tough matchup in Week 16. Or if you have Hunter Henry, who has a bye, then Buffalo. The honorable mentions are mostly handcuffs, with Elijah Higgins having the biggest upside for very deep leagues.
