Super Bowl 57 is finally here and the two best team's in the NFL face off against one another with the 14-3 Kansas City Chiefs running up against the 14-3 Philadelphia Eagles. Not only are these the two best teams in the NFL from a record standpoint they also boast two of the leagues leading MVP contenders at the QB position with Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts under center for both squads.

When it comes to DFS for the Super Bowl the QB position is pretty straightforward,  you aren't going to be rostering a Chad Henne or Gardner Minshew in your DFS lineups unless you are max entering a contest so let's break down the two-star QBs and which QB should be the focus of your DFS lineups for Super Bowl 57.

Super Bowl 57 DFS QB Picks

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Where to begin with Jalen Hurts? If you have followed me this season you know there was no bigger champion when it came to drafting Jalen Hurts in seasonal fantasy football season than I and all that success also translate over to the DFS scene as well where Hurts was the leading point per game scorer at the QB position.

Hurts was able to be an elite DFS QB thanks to not just his throwing improvements this season but also his elite rushing upside which saw him run for 760 yards and 13 touchdowns while missing two games. He also threw for 3,701 yards and 22 touchdowns. The addition of A.J. Brown to this offense along with the emergence of last year's first-round pick DeVonta Smith made this offense quite explosive.

The Chiefs defense ranked second in the NFL in sacks, behind the Eagles, but they will have their hands full this weekend as they will be forced to use a containment-style defense with a spy on Hurts to make sure he doesn't take off running and that can lead to their secondary being exposed against some elite playmakers.

I've been the biggest Jalen Hurts fan all season long and I see no reason for that to end now.

Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

The former Super Bowl MVP is quite literally hobbling into the Super Bowl as he still is working his way back from the high ankle sprain that he suffered during the team's Divisional Round matchup against the Jaguars.

Last week Mahomes was clearly hobbled against the Bengals but was still impressive, throwing for 326 yards and two touchdowns. The issue he runs into this week is the opposing defense and the health of his offensive weapons. First, the Eagles boast the league's top-rated pass defense per DVOA and they led the league with 70 sacks, 15 more than the next-best team.

That type of elite pass rush against a QB in Mahomes who is lacking some of his usual mobility can spell disaster. We also have to look at the injuries at wide receiver for the Chiefs with Mecole Hardman already ruled out and both JuJu Smith-Schuster and Karadius Toney at less than 100% going up against an elite Eagles secondary.

If you haven't figured out the tone of this analysis so far let me be a bit more forward, I don't see this being a good game for Mahomes or the Chiefs offense given this matchup against an elite Eagles defense and the injuries for Mahomes and company.  Mahomes is a fade for me unless making multiple lineups and I want to vary exposure.
