As the old saying goes, “Good teams win, great teams cover.” We are back for Week 7 with our picks against the spread! The NFL is wide open for the taking with teams that once felt like Super Bowl locks, like the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles, starting to slide. Let's hope Week 7 is full of some tight games and fun upsets just like Week 6!

Below, we will be breaking down our NFL Week 7 Picks Against The Spread while also going through the NFL Week 7 schedule. So without further ado, let's dive in!

NFL Week Two Picks Against The Spread + NFL Week 7 Schedule Predictions

For the NFL Week 7 Schedule, we have 30 of the 32 teams playing in 15 games, including both an international game and a Monday Night Football doubleheader. Also, two teams are on a bye this week: the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens. In the following section, you will find my predictions, with my NFL Week 7 Picks Against The Spread highlighted in bold. All lines are courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook:

NFL Week 7 Picks Against The Spread: New York Giants +7 (-110 at BetMGM Sportsbook)

How about this Giants team? Not only did Jaxson Dart walk up against an elite Chargers defense to get his first win, but two weeks later, he took on a division rival and the reigning Super Bowl Champions to get his second win. We already knew the defense was going to be a talented group, especially after adding Abdul Carter in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, but now that Cam Skattebo has started to get things going on the ground, things are really clicking for this Giants offense. This team has enough talent and “aura” to keep a game close against any team in the NFL on any given Sunday; there is no doubt in my mind.

I understand why the line is set at +7, though. This is a TOUGH Broncos defense. They have given up a total of 31 points across their last three games. So, it is possible that the Broncos can shut this up-and-coming Giants offense down, but that would put the game in the hands of Bo Nix and the Broncos' offense. The same offense that has put up less than 21 points in half of their games against far worse defensive units than the GMen. So far this season, Bo Nix has simply been less efficient than he was during his rookie year. Not terrible, but not at the same level as he was when he was an Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate. Coming off a rough showing against a Jets' defense that has been lackluster at best, my expectations are not incredibly high. This Giants' defense is legit, and I think they'll be able to keep this as a one-score game in a low-scoring affair.

NFL Week 7 Picks Against The Spread: Seattle Seahawks -3 (-108 at DraftKings Sportsbook)

I do not get this line at all. The Seattle Seahawks are LEGIT, and they can win in multiple ways. They have a legit WR group, headlined by Jaxon Smith-Njigba; they have a solid, two-headed backfield, a stifling defense with a strong coach leading the way, and when healthy, they are likely the front-runners for their division. They can outlast opponents in defensive battles and outscore teams in shootouts.

Meanwhile, the Texans have been a bit of a mess this year. They still have a solid defensive roster, but their offense lacks identity. Without Joe Mixon, their run game has not been as reliable as before, and their offensive line is one of the worst units in the league, significantly slowing down both the ground game and the passing game. I know that they put up a combined 70 points in their last two games, but that was against essentially a practice squad of Ravens players due to their banged-up team, and the Tennessee Titans, who just had to fire their head coach. They have yet to put up over 20 points against a legit defensive unit, so I don't expect them to against this Seahawks team, even if they are coming off their bye week. I like the Seahawks to win this game handily.
