Add in the usual prime-time spotlight where heavyweights like the Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys, and Philadelphia Eagles are tucked away in standalone windows, not to mention the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots already having slugged it out on Thursday night, and you realize this isn't your average slate. Let's talk about building winning lineups for this Sunday, October 25th slate. With four teams on bye and prime-time games sucking out some of the premier offensive firepower, ownership patterns are going to get weird. Everyone is going to be playing the Detroit Lions/Green Bay Packers games as it sits with the highest point total on the slate and we know these offenses can put up points. But you cannot just plug and play the usual suspects and expect to ship a tournament. We need to lean heavily on our data models to spot inefficiencies in pricing across both DraftKings and FanDuel and figure out the best ways to get off the chalk. Some chalk is fine, but all chalk is a recipe for finishing below the cash line. Whether you are playing cash games or throwing darts in large-field GPPs, isolating high-volume passing offenses and running backs with a locked-in snap share is the baseline requirement. This slate gives us unique leverage spots if we are willing to look past the missing big names and find the value hidden in plain sight.

NFL Injuries: What To Know For Week 7 DFS

Injuries are the lifeblood of DFS, and Week 7 has delivered a fresh batch of questionable tags and backfield shuffles that will blow up ownership projections by Sunday morning. Pay close attention to late-week practice participation reports, especially for starting pass-catchers and primary ball-carriers whose backups suddenly inherit league-winning volume at minimum salary. When a starter gets ruled out late on a slate like this, it opens up massive salary relief that lets you jam in elite tight ends or top-tier wideouts without sacrificing overall roster construction. I’ve spent this entire week studying everything about the upcoming matchups as well as everything we've witnessed over the first five weeks of the NFL season. I have combed through our NFL DFS projections and put together a list of candidates around which I am building most, and in some cases, all of my lineups. 

Still, people have asked me for my favorites, as if you don't already know reading the DFS Watch List and listening to me on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio as well as both the DFS Show and Alarm Fantasy Football. We’ve had numerous discussions regarding this slate and how to handle the late-window which is stacked with the highest-scoring games, so I’m willing to bet you already know who some of my favorite NFL DFS Week 7 picks are already. If you don’t already have an idea, then here is where I highlight a few from a variety of categories. 

One caveat – this in no way means that all of my lineups will consist of these players. Don't freak out if I post an example lineup or, even better, a lineup that cashed well, that doesn't include some of these players. Will they be in a lot of them? Absolutely.
