NFL Best Bets for Sunday Night Football: Picks, Predictions & Player Props
One of the most likely preseason Super Bowl matchups was one between Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions alongside Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Neither is perfect and has had times getting exposed, so for such an intriguing prime time game, we’ve got our best NFL best bets for Sunday Night Football of Lions vs. Chiefs.
We know that Detroit fans already have legal sports betting for their NFL picks, but with the guaranteed Novig Sportsbook promo code bonus that we’re going to share with you, fans in ALL states but AL, CO, ID, LA, MI, MT, NV and TN will be able to fully enjoy their NFL predictions!
NFL Picks, Predictions & Best Bets for Sunday Night Football, 10/12
Since losing to the Green Bay Packers in Week 1 when people were already acting like the sky was falling in Detroit, it’s safe to say that the Lions have figured things out. After blowing out the Cincinnati Bengals, albeit without Joe Burrow, they’ve now scored 34+ points in four straight games.
That’s rough news for the Chiefs and their fans to hear after seeing KC not only lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football, but do so while allowing 31 points. Yes, that means yet another prime-time game for Patrick Mahomes and company, but does that really surprise anyone?
It means that the NFL best bets for Sunday Night Football are even more important to have with such a high-profile game, so how can each team win it?Â

Sunday Night Football Prediction for Lions vs. Chiefs
Truthfully, it took some uncharacteristic plays for the Jags to upset the Chiefs that we wouldn’t expect to happen if the teams were to play again, but at the same time, seeing a Patrick Mahomes team below .500 at this point in the season is not the norm.
There are still fans and analysts alike hanging onto the fact that their offense will look more explosive when Rashee Rice returns from suspension, but that’s not until NEXT week. Meanwhile, Detroit’s offense is the epitome of explosiveness with the deep, downfield passes to Jameson Williams.
Seeing an RB duo continuously BOTH score in the SAME game like Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery do is also becoming borderline ridiculous. If we see the same effort level from KC’s Chris Jones as we saw on their game-losing play on MNF, this Chiefs defense is in for a long game.
Even still, we won’t be surprised to see either team win this game, so our NFL picks aren’t going to focus on predicting a winner. Instead, our NFL predictions for SNF are focused on Lions vs. Chiefs player props.

Lions vs. Chiefs Best Bet for NFL Week 6: Amon-Ra St. Brown Anytime TDÂ (+128 at Novig)
You may have noticed that there is one superstar name that you didn’t see above. That would be the Lions' amazing WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, and it wasn’t just because his name is more tedious to type.
It’s because he is the focus of our NFL best bets for Sunday Night Football, and we have him finding the endzone. Until Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts scored a ridiculous three touchdowns this past Sunday, Amon-Ra St. Brown was leading the entire NFL in touchdowns with six.
Although he didn’t find the endzone against the Cincinnati Bengals last weekend, the Lions didn’t need to keep their foot on the gas after an early lead, and even still, St. Brown had eight catches on nine targets for 100 yards.
What was truly surprising was that he even had plus-money odds to score in that game while he was leading the NFL in TDs! We’re surprised again at the price we’re getting now, especially given that when these teams met two seasons ago, he had six catches for 71 yards and a touchdown.
We like a few of his prop lines, but for the top pick from our NFL best bets for Sunday Night Football, we’ve got Amon-Ra St. Brown to score an anytime TD (+128 at Novig).
