NFL Picks, Predictions & Best Bets for Monday Night Football, 9/29
The second game of the MNF doubleheader has quite a significant point spread, with the oddsmakers favoring the Broncos over the Bengals in a big way. Of course, how badly Jake Browning and Cincinnati were just pummeled by the Minnesota Vikings plays a role in that.Â
That’s even with Denver not only coming off a loss, but also sitting at 1-2 on the season. As for the total, one sitting at around 43.5 points seems rather on point, so we're not going to be focused on NFL best bets for Monday Night Football on that front.Â
We’ve always got the option of focusing NFL picks on Bengals vs. Broncos player props, and while those options have treated us well (particularly in Cinci), they aren’t where we’re headed for the focus of our NFL predictions.

Monday Night Football Prediction for Bengals vs. Broncos
Speaking of overall predictions, we expect this game to be won in the trenches for Denver or with outside skill positions for Cincinnati. Starting with the Broncos, it’s no shock that they’ve got the advantage with their offensive line, as the one for the Bengals has been ridiculed endlessly for getting Joe Burrow injured several times now.
As you could have guessed, Cinci’s offensive line ranks dead last in the NFL in terms of pass block win rate, while Denver’s ranks not only fifth in that regard, but also the absolute best in terms of pass RUSH win rate!
That’s a scary proposition for Jake Browning; however, we also saw Justin Herbert throw for 300 yards against Denver this past weekend. That’s a significant factor for our NFL best bets for Monday Night Football, so let’s dive into our top pick. Â

Bengals vs. Broncos Best Bet for NFL Week 4: Cincinnati +7.5 Points (-115 at Rebet)
Look, Jake Browning isn’t Joe Burrow. That said, he can still sling the rock, and assuming that they won’t be down by three touchdowns just minutes into the game like they were in Week 3 against the Vikes.
Expecting multiple defensive touchdowns to completely change the script of the game is not something we’re going to do, which means that Cincinnati will be in this game for far longer, and therefore, Denver’s defensive line won’t be able to just pin their ears back and rush endlessly like Minnesota could.
The Bengals still have a strong RB to deal with in Chase Brown, not to mention the WR duo of Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. There’s no doubt that protection could be their pitfall in the end, but we aren’t asking them to win the game. Staying within a touchdown against a 1-2 Broncos team that isn’t built on lighting up the scoreboard is more than doable.
Not having Joe Burrow doesn’t make this a one-to-one comparison, but the Bengals did beat the Broncos 30-24 quite recently - Week 17 of last year. Again, we’re not asking for the outright upset here, just for Bengals +7.5 (-115 at Rebet) as the top pick from our NFL best bets for Monday Night Football.
