Welcome back to the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault! It is Thursday, and we have a medium 5-game slate on tap in the NBA, so let’s get down to business!

DRAFTKINGS

Michael Carter-Williams ($3,900)- MCW is back to getting decent run as one of the first players off the bench for the Magic, besides Terrence Ross . MCW has played at least 21 or more minutes in his last five straight games, while also topping 30 fantasy points in two of those, with three of the five eclipsing at least 20 fantasy points as well. He has scored at least eight or more actual points over those last five, dished out 3+ assists in three of his last four, while also recording four total steals and three total blocks as well. Decent value on MCW vs the Knicks tonight in Madison Square Garden, who just traded away arguably one of their better defenders in Marcus Morris .

Rajon Rondo ($4,100)- Rondo has also seen his playing time take a jump over the Laker’s last two contests, as he has now played 21 and 27 minutes over those last two, with three of his last five games seeing over 21 minutes as well. He has put up 24.5, 32.8, and 26.5 DK points in those three of five as well, and has the upside when given 20+ minutes on the court. Not to mention, the Lakers have an excellent match up with the fast-paced Rockets tonight.

LaMarcus Aldridge ($6,500)- It is awfully rare that you get a guy who has 40+ fantasy point upside under $7k price tag. LMA is fresh off a dud performance in his last time out versus the Lakers, but also put up 50 FPs the game before against the Clippers. Not only is this a great match up against POR, this is also a revenge narrative with him returning to his old stomping ground of Portland as well. Over LMA’s last four road games, he has gone for 36, 50, and 59 in three of those four. I’ll take a shot on LMA at this price in a pace-up spot tonight against the Blazers.

FANDUEL

Chandler Hutchison ($4,500)- With the Bulls already missing Kris Dunn , and with Denzel Valentine doubtful to play, Hutch should look to continue to see nice mins in the rotation, as he has played 27 minutes in two of his last three, and at least 20 or more in his last four-straight. He has been decently productive as well, notching out FanDuel point totals of 25.5, 23.8, and 32.6 over his last three contests, scoring 8, 17, and 21 actual points, grabbing 3, 9, and 5 rebounds, while also swiping up a total four steals to boot. The Bulls get a pretty nice pace-up spot tonight at home as they welcome in a top-five ranked PACE team in the Pelicans.

Josh Hart ($4,700)- Take a bit of a smaller price on Hart over on FD, compared to his $4.9K price on DK. I actually like Hart’s value more on FD as well, as he has consistently been putting up nice defensive stats, that we know give more points on FanDuel. Hart has now topped 25 or more FD points in four of his last five games, with his last two topping 31 FD points. Hart has been very active on the glass, recording seven or more boards in his last five of six, while also accruing five total blocks, and seven total steals over his last five as well. Nice value once again here on Hart tonight.

Robert Covington ($5,500)- Going to go out on a limb here and say the Rockets will need as much defense from their big men as possible tonight when the Rockets meet up with LBJ, AD and co tonight in LA. Covington has already been cleared to play and is available for tonight’s game, and with the Rockets just trading off Clint Capela , making P.J. Tucker the starting Center for the foreseeable future, this should allow RoCo to slide right into the starting PF spot. They will need his defense tonight to at least combat LBJ, even so, at this price if he sees 30+ minutes in his debut, he should be able to pay it off pretty nicely, one would think. RoCo is a full tourney play here, so don’t get cute in cash, stick to the certainty.
