Point Guard
Armoni Brooks, PG HOU
With both John Wall and Kevin Porter Jr. out of the lineup tonight we look towards Brooks as a key value play for tonight’s slate. He has played at least 26 minutes in each of the last four games and twice went for over 25 fantasy points. He takes the majority of his shots from three-point range but has also filled out the stat sheet a bit which included 10 rebounds against the Jazz.
Shooting Guard
Caris LeVert , SG IND
With Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner again out of the lineup the offensive usage falls upon the Pacers guards. We saw LeVert go for 53 fantasy points against the Thunder just the other night and he has an equally elite matchup tonight going against the Pistons who rank among the leagues worst defensive teams. The price tag is a bit expensive, but we know he has the upside to pay it off and more.
Small Forward
PJ Dozier, SF DEN
With Will Barton and Monte Morris out of the lineup we should continue to see the minutes for Dozier on the rise. He has played at least 24 minutes in each of the last five games while putting up over 20 FP in four of those games. We should look for him to take advantage of this great matchup tonight against the Rockets.
Power Forward
Zion Williamson , PF NO
Tossed up 34 FP in 23 minutes against the Magic the other night due to a blowout. He should dominate tonight’s matchup against the Spurs who have weak front court play. In two games against the Spurs this season Zion has averaged 47 fantasy points.
Center
Kelly Olynyk , C HOU
With Christian Wood out of the lineup tonight we should see Olynyk take on even more of a focus in the offense, especially with John Wall and Kevin Porter Jr. also not playing. The Rockets are playing with the minimum players allowed which means even in a tough matchup against Denver there could be 40 minutes incoming for Olynyk who is coming off a 47 FP performance last night against the Clippers.
