Christian Wood won't play against the Pistons on Friday after spraining his ankle on Wednesday.
Wood was injured in the first half but ultimately played through a sprained ankle against the Suns. It looks like the injury got worse overnight. Head coach Stephen Silas said Wood's chances of playing in the Rockets' back-to-back on the road Friday and Saturday weren't looking good, and on Thursday it was announced that he's not with the team. DeMarcus Cousins is likely to assume his starting role and play extended minutes. He might be a good DFS choice, but he ranks outside the top-200 in 8- and 9-cat leagues. Yesterday 3:08 pm (EST)
