Thursday NBA is here, and there are nine games today. There are several games with large spreads tonight, in fact there is only one game with less than a 5 point spread, and that is the Indiana Pacers vs Miami Heat which is on NBATV with a tip off at 7:30 PM ET. There are four teams playing their second of back-to-back games, and all of them are on the road. They are the Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Lakers, and Los Angeles Clippers. One of tonight's matches looks to take advantage of those back-to-back games. The Golden State Warriors host the Los Angeles Clippers and it will feature the bet of the night. There is also a proposition bet on the Detroit Pistons at New York Knicks in the hopes of back-to-back games having an effect on performance. The last prop features a positive prop on possible rookie of the year candidate, Victor Wembanyama, as the San Antonio Spurs host the Atlanta Hawks.

BET OF THE NIGHT: GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS -5 -112 DK

The Golden State Warriors host the Los Angeles Clippers tonight, and the Clippers are playing their second game in as many nights. The Clippers have the players associated with the term ‘load management’; Kawhai Leonard, James Harden, and Paul George. To counter that, they have Russell Westbrook who plays with intensity in every game he laces up his shoes. However on back-to-backs and against the Warriors who are playing with a full lineup, it could be too much regardless if the Clippers have a full lineup. The Warriors looked good in their first game with Draymond Green in over a week, and Andew Wiggins is getting into mid-season form. Klay Thompson even looked better in their last game. The star power of both of these teams is all-time, but the Warriors should cover this spread tonight.

PROP OF THE NIGHT: Victor Wembanyama OVER 2.5 Blocks +140 MGM

Victor Wembanyama has had an excellent year, despite the San Antonio Spurs having a bad year. V. Wembanyama is leading several statistical rookie categories, but his blocks are truly off the chart, with 45 on the season. The scouting report has to warn opponents that he is capable of blocking what would normally seem like a safe shot. His wingspan is something the NBA has not seen and teams are not adjusting. He has 2 or more blocks in the past five games, and covered this line in three of his last five games. The Atlanta hawks have scored 100 or more points in 73 straight games, the longest streak in the NBA. The Hawks are also averaging the second most points in the association, with 122.50. It takes several shots to reach this amount, and Victor will have his opportunities to earn three blocks. Root for the rookie to deliver with his shot blocking abilities.

PROP BET: Mitchell Robinson OVER 9.5 Rebounds -135 MGM

This is also a bet to take advantage of teams in back-to-back games. Mitchell Robinson is the starting center for the New York Knicks who are hosting the Detroit Pistons, and the Pistons have lost fifteen straight games. That is a franchise record, and not a good one. The Detroit Pistons are a proud NBA franchise that have won three NBA titles. Head Coach Monty Williams was paid 78.5 million dollars to improve this franchise, but it is not working. Mitchell Robinson is averaging 11.2 rebounds per game, and the Detroit Pistons allow over 50 per game. With the Pistons in back-to-back games, M. Robinson should be able to out rebound Jalen Duren tonight. Double digit rebounds are well within reach for the big guy.
