Yesterday’s losses were not how we wanted to end the week, but today is a new day and new betting week. Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets looks at six games today for some winning bets.

We are still above thirty units and looking to build our way back to the goal of forty. There are two games on national television: the Los Angeles Clippers at Milwaukee Bucks with a 7:00 PM ET tip-off, and the Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Lakers with a 10:30 PM ET tip-off.

Those are not the games my NBA best bets today focus on. Instead, the bets focus on two props and one straight bet in the middle games. There is a straight bet in the Portland Trail Blazers at Minnesota Timberwolves game, beginning at 7:00 PM ET. Coby White and the Chicago Bulls travel to Sacramento to play the Kings with a 10:00 PM ET tip-off.

There is also a double unit proposition bet in the Washington Wizards at Utah Jazz matchup, and it's my NBA best bets today ‘Bet of the Night’.

Expert NBA Best Bet & Pick Today, 3/4

John Collins Player Props: Over 9.5 Rebounds (-160 on Fanatics Sportsbook) *2 UNITS

The Utah Jazz host the worst team in the league, the Washington Wizards. The Wizards are on a fourteen game losing streak, with a -10.0 point differential. They allow the most rebounds to opposing teams with an average of 57.3 per game and 57.7 on the road.

Collins’ line was initially at -125 on 9.5 rebounds, then moved to -150, and for most books has been set to 10.5 around even odds. As I write the odds and lines are moving, and the best odds I can find for -9.5 is Fanatics Sportsbook under the ‘ALT Player Props’, with -160 odds.

John Collins will have plenty of opportunities with teammate Lauri Markkanen ruled out tonight. Collins has ten or more rebounds in five of his last seven games and will be competing for rebounds against Marvin Bagley, Deni Avdija, and Kyle Kuzma. He has an average of 8.4 on the season, and he has played thirty or more minutes in four of his last six games.

With both the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors losing, Utah has an opportunity to make up some ground for the tenth spot of the play-in. John Collins has an opportunity for a double-double night, but in two of his last five games he recorded under ten points.

The double unit is suggested as he should be the Jazz’s primary rebounder against the worst rebounding team. Collin Sexton and Keyonte George are both excellent scorers and could dominate the scoring against a terrible defense.

NBA Prop Bets for Today, 3/4

Coby White Player Props: Under 2.5 Threes Made (+114 on DraftKings)

Coby White was a Fantasy Alarm favorite earlier this season, but his numbers were inconsistent. He is now consistently below with four games in a row below 2.5 threes made, and seven of his last seven. The Chicago Bulls hit the road with the first of four games on the road and are playing the Sacramento Kings who play with more pace than the Bulls.

White has played an insane number of minutes, including over fifty against the Cleveland Cavaliers two games ago. He has been one of the most consistent players for the Bulls this season but could be feeling fatigue entering week twenty. A plus odds prop to continue the trend on the road is worth a unit wager.

NBA Predictions for Today, 3/4

Trail Blazers vs. Timberwolves Prediction: Portland +14.5 (-115 on BetMGM)

The Portland Trail Blazers are playing the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight, and the Timberwolves played a tough match last night against the Los Angeles Clippers. Earlier this month the Trail Blazers lost by thirty-seven and twelve to the Timberwolves.

However, Portland is playing better basketball, and have won their last two games and covered this line in the two games prior. Minnesota just lost the first seed ranking in the Western Conference. They are expected to beat teams at home, but fifteen points is a huge spread, the largest of today actually.

Minnesota averages 113.2 points per game, and the Portland Trail Blazers average 107.5. The average is less than six points apart, which gives an eight-point cushion for this bet. Portland will be more rested than the Timberwolves and have an opportunity to cover a ridiculously high spread. It is worth a unit wager.

NBA Player Props Today, 3/4: Bonus Bet

Anthony Davis Player Props Over 13.5 Rebounds (+102 on FanDuel)

Jusuf Nurkic of the Phoenix Suns had thirty-one rebounds last night against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Yes, 31! Anthony Davis was whooped by Nikola Jokic in his previous game and the Lakers host The Thunder tonight.

He has a great opportunity to have a dominant game against the Thunder. Nurkic had twelve in the first six minutes of the game, and although Davis is not Nurkic, and the Los Angeles Lakers are not the Phoenix Suns, Davis is capable of a high rebounding night.

He is probable tonight, averaging 12.3 rebounds per game, and playing against the fifth worst rebounding team in the league. The line was moved up against his average but look for Davis to cover against a poor rebounding team.
