It was a sweep of game one bets to begin the NBA Finals. The series prop of Aaron Nesmith making five or more threes in a single game did not happen. He made just three field goals all game, but as it happens they were all threes. Smith attempted seven total threes in game one, and we have at least three more games for the +270 series proposition to be successful.

Myles Turner was everything Fantasy Alarm expected him to be. He almost doubled his rebounding pick of over 5.5 cashing his rebounding proposition, and made eight crucial late fourth quarter points. He finished with 15 total points, and the second NBA best bet was successful. In game one’s best bet article we directly stated, ‘...Indiana who could pull off one of the greatest upsets of all-time.

The +9.5 spread on the Indiana Pacers was suggested, but the mention of a big moneyline payout was in reach. The spread was successfully cashed, as did the moneyline. Indiana only led 0.3 seconds of the match, the last 0.3 seconds of game one.

Pacers vs Thunder Prediction: Indiana +11.0 (-110 on Bet365) *BET OF THE NIGHT

Game one of the NBA Finals was almost as exciting as game one of the Eastern Conference Finals, and some notable NBA figures said game one of the Eastern Conference Finals was the best game they ever watched. Some might say the same thing about the game that took place Thursday Night, most notably Pacers fans.

The common theme to the dramatic finishes was trust… and Tyrese Haliburton. Indiana has stayed true to their philosophy and their style of uptempo, athletic play. And it has proven to wear down their opponents in every series of the playoffs. The Oklahoma City Thunder were winning from the first bucket of the game up until the 0.3 seconds of the match.

The Thunder were winning by 15 points with less than 10 minutes in the fourth quarter, and 6 points with 2 minutes remaining in the game. However the Indiana Pacers took the missed Oklahoma City field goal with 8.0 seconds in the game, did not call a timeout, and trusted Haliburton to make the most important field goal once again. And he did.

During the last 15 seconds of the game the Thunder looked too tired to compete. They did not run any motion in their set offense, and were out hustled by the Indiana Pacers during the last eight seconds of the match. Indiana was allowed to get the exact field goal they wanted due to the court being spread out.

Despite the fact that Indiana is up 1 - 0 in the series, they return to game two as larger underdogs then they were in game one. It is a bit odd, but the thinking from most is the Thunder will bounce back, and why wouldn’t they? They have not lost back to back games this postseason, and only twice during 82 games of the regular season.

However, asking them to win by 12 or more points against the best team of the postseason seems a bit too much. Put a unit on this best bet at Bet365 and for those new to the sports betting app, make sure to take advantage of Fantasy Alarm’s promotional offer at the end of this article.

Pacers vs Thunder Prediction: Myles Turner To Record 6+ Rebounds (-148 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

Myles Turner delivered for NBA best bets in game one, and the expectation is for the big man to do it again. There are sportsbooks with his rebounding line set at 6.5 and 5.5, but this best bet is on Turner to record 6+ rebounds in game two.

FanDuel offers his line at 5.5 with -155 on the over, but -148 on 6+ in the alternate line. Although it is a small difference, those differences add up. Particularly when you are at bet number 575 of the season, such is the case with today’s best bets article. Turner was not the leading rebounder of the Pacers, but he cleared over 3.5 on his projected rebounding line. And the odds were positive on the over.

Due to that, the over on his 5.5 line has become heavily juiced, and some have moved it up to 6.5. Although he was not the leading rebounder he also played the least of Indiana’s starters. Pascal Siakam, Nesmith, and Haliburton all had double digit rebounds, but every other starter played 3 or more minutes more than he did. He still earned 9 rebounds in game one, and he is poised to do it again.

If the Thunder keep Cason Wallace in the starting lineup, keep Isaiah Hartenstein on the bench, and only play Hartenstein 17 minutes, Turner will have a much easier path to high rebounding numbers. Chet Holmgren is an excellent center, but he too only played 23:32 minutes. If the Thunder keep playing small ball, the rebounds should be plentiful for the Pacers.

Turner is averaging 6.5 rebounds per game, and excluding the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks, he has recorded 7 or more rebounds in six of the last seven playoff matches. The Knicks were able to effectively limit his rebounds, but Oklahoma City’s roster is not constructed to keep a big, strong center from rebounding. Even more so when they played Holmgren and Hartenstein for a combined total of 41 minutes.

The expression goes, that good things come in three. Put a unit on Turner to deliver for us once again and for those new to FanDuel, make sure to take advantage of Fantasy Alarm’s promotional offer for FREE bonus bets.

Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 6/8

The last NBA best bet today comes from a player making his first appearance since the Semi-Conference Finals.

Pacers vs Thunder Prediction: Andrew Nembhard Over 1.5 Steals (Boosted to +255 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Andrew Nembhard has produced both successful and losing tickets in the postseason. His defense has been a game changer throughout the postseason, but we have previously bet on his points. This time we focus on his steals line which is set at great odds.

First it should be mentioned that the Pacers set an NBA Finals record for the most turnovers in a half, 19. They finished with 25 total but Oklahoma City managed just 11 points off of those turnovers. That is less than 0.5 points per turnover, and credit the Pacers defense for hustling back to force a tough field goal attempt. The Pacers will not commit that many turnovers again

The Thunder committed just 6 turnovers, and Nembhard recorded 0 steals. In the previous two games he earned a combined 9 steals, and the expectation is for the Pacers to force more than 6 turnovers tonight with Nembhard earning two or more. He earned an average of 2.0 steals per game in the Conference Finals, and has two games with two or more steals in the previous three series of the playoffs.

Look for him to take advantage of a Thunder team that should be playing with more apprehension. Oklahoma City could look to pass more in order to keep Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s energy up for the closing minutes of the game. Place this order on Draftkings Sportsbooks and boost this best bet from +170 to +255 with their 50% betting boost. Pacers vs Thunder Prediction: Aaron Nesmith To Make 5+ Threes in an NBA Finals Game (+270 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

As mentioned in the game one column, this bet is a series long wager, but for those wanting to join, the best bet is still available. On Draftkings it is located under “Series Markets”, then the subtab of “Finals Specials”. There will be a list of several options, and it can be found there, but with the odds shifted to +150. It was suggested to utilize the “No Sweat Bet” promotion, and if it is still available it would be wise to stretch the value out with the safety of getting your unit back.
