NBA Best Bets Today, 12/3: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Wednesday
Khris Middleton sat out the second night of back-to-back games, thus voiding our best bet on his assists. The New York Knicks and Boston Celtics played a great game, but Boston worked the equivalent of what jabbing is to boxing. New York came out hot and heavy, winning the first quarter by 11 points.Â
Then Boston won the second quarter by 17 points and outscored New York by 12 in the third. Every time the Knicks worked a combo, there was Boston with a three-point jab. Every time New York made a big three, Boston would flash down the court for an easy field goal, quick jab. They never allowed them back into the game, and ruined our Knicks moneyline.
Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves went to overtime, and Edwards earned 53 Points + Rebounds + Assists (PRA). Shai Gilgeous-Alexander played the late game and did just enough to earn 45+ PRA. He did not win the King of the Court, but did win the best bet. The teased-up plus odd proposition means yesterday was another profitable day. There are nine NBA games today, and the best bets feature both Eastern and Western Conference teams.

NBA Best Bets Today, 12/3: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Wednesday
Denver Nuggets vs Indiana Pacers: Wednesday 12/3
Game Time: 7:00 PM ET | TV: Local | Location: Gainbridge Fieldhouse | Odds: DEN -7.5 | O/U 236.5
- Same Game Parlay Prediction: DEN Moneyline & Nikola Jokic 13+ Rebounds (+110 DraftKings Sportsbook)Â
A rare parlay gets the lead-off bet. The Denver Nuggets have lost four consecutive home games, but are 8 - 2 on the road this season. The Indiana Pacers are playing better, but have still only won four games. After a disappointing performance against the Dallas Mavericks, the Nuggets should come out hot and look to score throughout the game. The spread is -7.5 for Denver, but the moneyline is suggested for the base of this parlay.
Nikola Jokic earned 20 rebounds in his most recent game and is averaging 12.8 rebounds per game this season. The Indiana Pacers are starting former Jokic backup, Jay Huff, at center, and Jokic is expected to have a great game. His rebounding line is set at 13.5, with plus odds on the over.Â
Although 14 or more rebounds are well within reach, take the hook off of his rebounding line. This gives a little more wiggle room for success, and the parlay still has plus odds. A slight tease on the rebounds, and a juiced moneyline pair together like Swiss cheese and French wine. Put a unit on this best bet.
Charlotte Hornets vs New York Knicks: Wednesday 12/3
Game Time: 7:30 PM ET |Â TV:Â Local |Â Location:Â Madison Square Garden |Â Odds:Â NYK -8.5 | O/U: 235.5
- Prediction: CHA Hornets +8.5 (-108 on FanDuel Sportsbook)Â
The New York Knicks disappointed this column with a terrible display at TD Garden. Now they host the Charlotte Hornets at Madison Square Garden, on the second of back-to-back games. Charlotte is well rested, so much so that Kon Knueppel did an interview for a late-night show. The expectation is for the Knicks to win, but winning by 9 or more points seems highly unlikely.
The Hornets have won just two of their last ten games, and are 1 - 9 on the road. However, their point differential is only -4.8 points, and they will have the advantage of resting in New York after their match against the Brooklyn Nets. The Knicks have had better play from their role players, but can they bring that energy after a tough loss?
The spread was at +10.5 last night, but has shifted two points. If you want to tease up the line with a little juice, do it. However, look for the Hornets to keep this game close and cover the +8.5 spread. Put a unit on this best bet, and root for the visiting team.

NBA Prop Bet Today, 12/3
The last best bet of the night is a teased-up player proposition on Kawhi Leonard. The Los Angeles Clippers play the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena in a 7:30 p.m. match. Kawhi Leonard has been on a tear since recovering from injury, and it should continue against Atlanta.
The Clippers are one of the worst teams in the Association. They are currently fourteenth in the Western Conference, and there are only fifteen teams. They only have five wins this season, and have lost five in a row. Leonard was outspoken about the need to improve and play better. In his last three games, he has scored 36, 30, and 39 points. The Hawks allow 115.8 points per game, and Leonard will need to be at his best if the Clippers are going to win.
His point line is currently set at 23.5, with -103 on the over. His season average is 26.4 points per game, and something is not adding up. Placing a ladder is not a bad idea, but we want the whole enchilada. Put a unit on the +329 odd best bet.
