The Milwaukee Bucks rammed through the Boston Celtics last night, and there was a Kyle Kuzma sighting. He dominated the game in a rare Bucks victory without Giannis Antetokounmpo. The New Orleans Pelicans flew by the Portland Trail Blazers in an easy win in the “Big Easy”. Derik Queen was unable to cover his proposition due to it. Russell Westbrook only recorded 2 rebounds in the first half of a blowout loss against the Denver Nuggets, and the risky triple-double bet was just out of reach.

A great set of games takes place today, and there are several best available for our picking. The focus is on player propositions for the best bets today. They cover the NBA from coast to coast, and they are all focused on one thing… rebounding. All three best bets are positive odds wagers as well.

NBA Best Bets Today, 12/12: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Friday

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Washington Wizards: Friday 12/12

Game Time: 7:00 PM ET | TV: NBA League Pass | Location: Capital One Center  | Odds: CLE -14.5 | O/U 241.5

The Washington Wizards host the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Capital One Center in an Eastern Conference Showdown. The Cavaliers are not playing nearly as well as they did last season and are currently in seventh place in the Eastern Conference. However, Evan Mobley has been playing well, and without frontcourt teammate Jarrett Allen, he’s putting up career record numbers. That is a good thing because Allen will miss today’s game, too.

Mobley’s averages are at a career high: points 18.9, assists 4.0, steals 1.0, and blocks 1.7. He is also averaging 9.1 rebounds per game, but has double-digit rebounds in five of his last six games. And seven of his last nine. The sportsbooks are well aware of it and added 1.4 over his average as a set line. The over is offered at plus odds, and over 10.5 is the best bet of today.

The Washington Wizards are the worst rebounding team in the Association. They allow 49.1 rebounds per game to opposing teams, and Mobley will have an easier path to earn 11 rebounds in today’s game. The Cavaliers have lost six of their last ten games and need to get into a good rhythm with another game on Sunday. Look for Mobley to play aggressively and clear his plus-odds rebounding line. Put a unit on the best bet of Mobley over 10.5 rebounds.

Utah Jazz vs Memphis Grizzlies: Friday 12/12

Game Time: 8:00 PM ET | TV: Local | Location: FedExForum | Odds: MEM -6.5 | O/U: 239.5

Jusuf Nurkic continues to be a starter, but is somewhat of a role player for the Utah Jazz. Kevin Love, Kyle Anderson, and Nurkic make up one of the, if not the, oldest center rooms in the Association. They each receive court time, and that limits their production. They also get nights off, which helps keep them fresh, but they are each available for today’s game.

They are all well rested and playing at the FedExForum against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies are surging and have won seven of their last ten matches. However, they have lost starting center Zach Edey for at least a month, if not longer. This gives Nurkic an experience advantage over Jock Landale, and a natural advantage over Santi Aldama, who prefers to play on the perimeter.

Nurkic has gone over this line in four of his last nine games and is averaging 9.2 rebounds per game. Memphis will be without both Edey and Ja Morant, who is an underrated rebounder. Put a unit on him to go slightly over his average with the second-best bet today.

NBA Prop Bet Today, 12/12

The third best bet comes from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. The Golden State Warriors host the Minnesota Timberwolves in a Western Conference showdown. The headlines will be on Stephen Curry making his return from injury, and the Chase Center should be rocking. However, the bet doesn’t focus on Curry, but on the visiting team’s center, Rudy Gobert.

Gobert and Draymond Green have had their fair share of altercations, but Gobert has had great games against the Warriors. He is averaging 9.1 rebounds per game in his last four against the Warriors. He has averaged 10.7 or more rebounds for over a decade, and most importantly, he is averaging 10.1 rebounds per game this season.

Both teams are in the middle of the Western Conference standings, and both have positive point differentials. Gobert has so much size on the Warriors' frontcourt; he’s going to be a problem for them to block out. He should gain a position to block out and use his IQ, paired with size, to get 10 or more rebounds. Put a unit on this best bet today, and expect three plus odd rebounding wagers to be successful.
