The NBA schedule sets pitfalls for unsuspecting bettors passing by, and they got us with voided bets. Michael Porter was a 1.5 unit best bet that was voided due to not playing. To add insult to injury, Jalen Duren was a late scratch, voiding two of the three bets. Only the twelve year veteran Nikola Vucevic played for our bets. He earned eight rebounds, but eleven was needed.

Today is a bounce back opportunity with eight games across the NBA. There is a mix of player propositions and straight bets, to help cover any unforeseen absences. The first best bet takes place in an afternoon game in the great Northwest.

NBA Best Bets Today, 11/30: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Sunday

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Portland Trail Blazers: Sunday 11/30

Game Time: 6:00 PM ET | TV: Local | Location: Moda Center | Odds: OKC -12.5 | O/U 230.5

Prediction: Deni Avdija Under 6.5 Assists (-130 on FanDuel Sportsbook) 1.5 Units

The Portland Trail Blazers host the Oklahoma City Thunder in a Northwest Division battle. Well, sort of. The Thunder enter as -12.5 point favorites today, and they destroyed them 122 - 95 less than a week ago. The proposition today is on Portland forward Deni Avdija and his assists line of 6.5. The best bet is under 6.5 despite the juice.

Avdija earned 1 assist in their last meeting, and will have difficulty earning assists tonight. The Thunder will smother Avdija and force the ball to swing around, limiting his assists. The Thunder have great defense in general and regardless of which Trail Blazer is attempting to score, points will be difficult to come by.

The Thunder allow the fewest points per game in the Association, 106.3. That is 4.1 points fewer than the next best defense. Portland averages 118.4 points per game, but they didn’t score 100 in their last match with the defending champions. Avdija earning over 6.5 assists seems highly unlikely. Put 1.5 units on the best bet of under 6.5 assists for Deni Avdija.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Sacramento Kings: Sunday 11/30

Game Time: 9:00 PM ET | TV: NBA League Pass | Location: Golden 1 Center | Odds: MEM -2.5 | O/U: 231.5

Prediction: Sacramento Kings Moneyline (+130 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

The Sacramento Kings host the Memphis Grizzlies in a bottom of the Western Conference match. This one is going to be a battle with a spread of just -2.5, or a field goal difference. Memphis does have the better record, but they may not be the better team. The Kings have had a brutal schedule and they score about the same amount of points per game. Memphis averages 1.3 points more, but will have the task of stepping it up on the road.

Sacramento does have home court advantage with some of the most loyal fans in professional sports. Memphis is getting players back, but Sacramento will have everyone but Domantas Sabonis for this match. Trust the home team to prevail and cash in a plus odds ticket. Put a unit on the Kings winning tonight.

NBA Double Unit Bet Today, 11/30

New York Knicks -7.5 (-110 on DraftKings Sportsbook) 2.0 Units

The New York Knicks host the Toronto Raptors at Madison Square Garden. These two teams are headed to the NBA Cup knockout stage, but first play each other in a regular season match. Toronto lost their first game in ten matches, and it was in overtime. Now they have a 6:00 PM match against a team on a three-game win streak.

These two teams are separated by only 1.0 game in the Eastern Conference. New York has a +6.7 point differential and the spread is less than a point above their average. This Atlantic Division battle is a rivalry, and New York is rested and ready for their opponent. They should easily cover the spread, and as tempting as it is to tease it up, put two units on this best bet on the home team.
