The Indiana Pacers surprised the Charlotte Hornets, but as yesterday’s column stated, ‘anyone could win this game. The tease-up was a bit too much, but the original line was also too high. The Pacers were able to hold the Hornets to a “low” 118 points.

Rudy Gobert and the Minnesota Timberwolves did not blow out the Washington Wizards. Gobert went over his 10.5 rebounding line in the third quarter. The Sacramento Kings played a good game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Good enough to cover the +18.5 spread with ease, but they were out of the game before the fourth quarter. The Thunder’s spread has been teased up for the set line, with terrible teams easily covering the spread.

There are four games today, and with two teams on the second of back-to-back games, player props have been limited. And the propositions available could change due to a player resting. With that in mind, two straight bets and a team proposition take center stage in Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets, November 20, 2025.

NBA Best Bets Today, 11/20: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Thursday

LA Clippers vs Orlando Magic: Thursday 11/20

Game Time: 7:00 PM ET | TV: League Pass | Location: Kia Center | Odds: ORL -5.5  | O/U 219.5

The Los Angeles Clippers have only won two of their last ten games, and four games the entire season. The Clippers' collapse is real, and it’s happening yet again. The Orlando Magic host them at the Kia Center today, and the Magic are favored. The Clippers are slightly banged up, but still have superstars. James Harden has been playing at an All-NBA level and will be asked to stuff the stat sheet once again.

Los Angeles has lost three of their last five games by three points. Their defense is playing well despite Kawhi Leonard's absence. The Orlando Magic score an average of 115.9 points per game, and 4.2 more points than the Clippers. Orlando has scored 113 or fewer in two of their last three matches. They scored 121 against the Golden State Warriors, who were playing the second of back-to-back games. The Clippers should keep this match close and possibly win. Put a unit on them to cover the +5.5 spread.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Milwaukee Bucks: Thursday 11/20

Game Time: 8:00 PM ET | TV: Local | Location: Fiserv Forum | Odds: PHI -2.5 | O/U: 225.5

The second-best bet today is the Philadelphia 76ers to win by one through ten points against the Milwaukee Bucks. Milwaukee will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo in addition to Taurean Prince and Kevin Porter, who had surgeries. The Bucks have the advantage of the homecourt, but are missing their best player.

Philadelphia is playing the second of back-to-back matches. They were in a tough game against the Toronto Raptors last night, but the expectation is that Joel Embiid will play tonight. He did not play yesterday and will boost their chances against an Eastern Conference opponent. Their last three victories have been by 2, 2, and 10, and the sportsbooks have them at -2.5 today. NBA Total Bet Today, 11/20

The Memphis Grizzlies host the Sacramento Kings at FedExForum in a battle of long losing streaks. The Grizzlies come into today’s game with five consecutive losses. The Kings said, “Hold my beer,” and have a badge of seven losses in a row. That is tied for the second longest in the NBA. The Grizzlies are in a state of philosophical change, and have one of the most injured backcourts in the Association. Offensive rhythm is difficult for their team, particularly without Ja Morant.

Zach Edey is back, and he has four blocks, two steals, and is playing great defense around the rim. The two teams are averaging a combined 223.1 points per game this season, 11.4 points less than the set line. Sacramento is playing in back-to-back games, and field goal percentages usually drop in those settings.

Russell Westbrook is an all-time great point guard, but he still commits several turnovers. Memphis has Vince Williams at point guard, who has one game with more than 6 assists this season. As tempting as it is to put two units on this best bet, one is the suggestion. The total line is lazy math on their points allowed, and neither team has been scoring consistently.
