MLB Injury Report: Starting Pitchers
Blake Snell, Los Angeles Dodgers - Shoulder
Snell worked up to 58 pitches in latest rehab start, striking out six batters across 4 IP.
Max Fried, New York Yankees - Finger
Fried will toe the rubber on Wednesday despite a blister issue that popped up before the All-Star break.
Spencer Arrighetti, Houston Astros - Thumb
Arrighetti logged three scoreless innings in his first rehab start at Double-A. Arrighetti has been on the shelf with a broken thumb on his pitching hand.
Grayson Rodriguez, Baltimore Orioles - Lat/Elbow
I’m becoming more and more skeptical by the day that we see Gray-Rod in 2025.
Shane McClanahan, Tampa Bay Rays - Triceps
Despite an early departure from his last rehab start, everything is fine physically with McClanahan, the Rays said.
Nathan Eovaldi, Texas Rangers - Back
Eovaldi was scratched from his start on Sunday due to back tightness, but it isn’t believed to be serious. At time of writing, no IL stint is expected, and it’s possible he starts on Wednesday.
Bailey Ober, Minnesota Twins - Hip
Ober logged 4 IP in his first rehab start since being sidelined with a left hip impingement.
MLB Injury Report: Hitters
Freddie Freeman, Los Angeles Dodgers - Wrist
Freeman is day to day with a wrist contusion he suffered after being hit by a pitch on Sunday.
Isaac Paredes, Houston Astros - Hamstring
Paredes will head to the injured list with a strained hamstring. It sounds like a multi-week absence could be in store for the Houston slugger.
Yordan Alvarez, Houston Astros - Hand
Alvarez was cleared to swing a bat, but no firm timetable is in place for his return. He last played on May 2.
Brandon Lowe, Tampa Bay Rays - Foot
Lowe is dealing with plantar fasciitis in his left foot. Consider him day to day at this juncture.
Adley Rutschman, Baltimore Orioles - Oblique
The Baltimore backstop is expected to embark on a rehab assignment beginning on Tuesday. He’s been out the last couple of weeks with an oblique strain.
Alec Bohm, Philadelphia Phillies - Rib
A HBP and aggravation led to a rib fracture for Bohm, who was placed on the injured list on Saturday. Otto Kemp has made both starts at the hot corner since Bohm hit the shelf.
Dylan Crews, Washington Nationals - Oblique
The hope is that Crews will head out on a rehab assignment in the near future.
Austin Riley, Atlanta Braves - Abdomen
The hope is that Riley will be activated once eligible on Tuesday.
Steven Kwan, Cleveland Guardians - Wrist
Kwan has been battling soreness in his right wrist over the past couple of weeks and received an injection last week to try to help the ailing issue. Consider him day to day.
Nolan Gorman, St. Louis Cardinals - Back
Gorman was placed on the injured list with pain in his lower back.
