2023 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: Despite posting his usual below average barrel rate and average exit velocity, Paredes hit a career high 31 home runs last season. Right-handed power hitters with extreme pull tendencies like Paredes tend to do well at Tropicana Field and he posted a .913 OPS at home. DFS players should note that 27 of his 31 home runs were hit against right-handed pitching. 

2024 Outlook: Most projection models predict that we’ll see slight regression in his home run production but 25 should be his floor and based on his walk, strikeout and contact rates his 2023 .250 batting average is a good indicator of his plate skills.
