The featured FS1 clash is Orioles vs. Royals, which means plenty of young studs like Gunnar Henderson and Bobby Witt, Jr. While those are some new series starting up, we’ll also see some continuing that we’ve already made MLB predictions on this weekend, such as a very early Tigers vs. Red Sox game and a later Dodgers vs. Rockies matchup.

🔥 Phillies vs. Cubs Best Bet: Philadelphia Team Total Over 3.5 (-129 at Novig)

Like the Braves, Philly also has a quick turnaround today after just getting swept by Atlanta. However, we have them bouncing back and ending this five-game skid. If you remember, just prior to that NL East rivalry, Philly and Chicago played one another to help us cash a few MLB best bets today, such as a YRFI pick.

We aren’t going that route this time because we’re trusting Aaron Nola to look like he did in his first two starts when he recorded 16 strikeouts. KC starter Seth Lugo is far from terrible, but with a low whiff rate, Baltimore making contact can help get us here.

That’s certainly far from a compelling argument, but more importantly, the Royals have the absolute worst bullpen ERA in baseball (the only team over six with a 6.18 ERA). Meanwhile, the O’s speak for themselves, as just about everyone can produce against them, and Kyle Bradish is far from an ace.
