Favorite Bets: 

Elly De La Cruz, Cincinnati Reds (+287)

Lefties have a .343 OBP against Pittsburgh’s Mitch Keller on the year, while De La Cruz has an 83rd percentile sprint speed and 77.8% success rate on SB attempts versus RHP. Henry Davis has caught back-to-back days, so we could see Endy Rodriguez behind the dish. Rodriguez’s 15-percent caught stealing rate pales in comparison to Henry Davis’ 39-percent, so that would behoove Cruz even further. He’s a perfect 6-for-6 on stolen base attempts out of the All-Star break, and against Keller, I like his outlook to push that to 7-for-7.

Victor Robles, Seattle Mariners (+422)

How about a Sunday longshot here? I’m liking the +422 odds here for Robles, as the Minnesota tandem of Ryan Jeffers and Victor Caratini are amongst the worst in the league at catching opposing base stealers. Jeffers should be behind the dish today, and he’s thrown out just 12% of base stealers on the year. Albeit underwhelming offensive numbers, Robles’ OBP is higher against RHP (.295) than lefties (.286), but against a vulnerable catching duo, Robles’ 86th percentile sprint speed is plenty fine.
