Between trades and injuries, a lot of players in the NBA have been impacted in the last seven days. Always keep track of depth charts because there are players on this list who are benefitting from fill-in minutes that could get rotation commitments for the next few weeks while new players acclimate themselves in their new team’s rotation. The Wizards, Pelicans, Pistons, Clippers, Cavs and Bulls have had to change their rotations. The Grizzlies learned that Mike Conley is done for the season. Always account for variable change, especially with the trade deadline looming.

Ed Davis PF/C POR – 23% Ownership: There is major separation when it comes to how playing time is divided among the big men in the Portland. Jusuf Nurkic is the obvious majority shareholder, but Davis has been hanging on to his rotation spot. Nurkic is currently banged up and Davis has compiled four double-digit rebounding games in his last six. Davis is a strong low block player who had a few up and under moves in the post and he positions himself well in the paint to give the Blazers second-chance scoring opportunities. Davis has blocked at least two shots his last three games. On a smaller scale, he’ll compile minimal steals and assists from under the basket. Al-Farouq Aminu shouldn’t impede on his playing time because he’s more of an attacker while Davis sets up in the post. Davis playing time should be safe and secure moving forward. He’s scored in double figures in three of his last four games.

Terry Rozier G BOS – 34% Ownership: Rozier is a better player overall than Marcus Smart. Rozier takes better shots, attacks the rim better and outside of Smart’s physical style of defense, Rozier offers more in most areas. With Smart out and Kyrie Irving in and out of the Celtics lineup, Rozier has been playing 30-minute games lately. His defense is stellar and he’s grabbed steals in his last 10 games. He’s blocked shots in his last two and has grabbed 4.5 rebounds per game this season. Rozier had a triple-double on Wednesday night. Rozier won’t only stand at the arc as a bailout option, but he’ll attack the rim as well. He’s good at handling the ball and has dished at least four assists in three of his last four games. Rozier should be playing a steady amount of playing time in the mid-20’s once the Celtics are back at full strength. He deserves more playing time down the stretch and Marcus Smart’s stupid shot selection could benefit Rozier late in the season.

Channing Frye PF/C CLE – 13% Ownership: With Kevin Love expected to miss the next month or two on the sidelines, the Cavs are trying to make a trade to get another big man. For the time being, Frye will continue to see more playing time. The Cavs need a player that replicates Kevin Love and the perimeter shooting Frye fills that void. Frye scored in double figures in two of his last three games. Frye’s grabbed at least four boards in all three of those games. Frye’s blocked shots in three of his last four games and he’s currently getting a secure amount of playing time. Tristan Thompson will still be utilized, but he provides a very limited amount of offense. Even if the Cavs do make a trade in the next week, Frye will still be useful while the new options get used to the offense. He’s a good on the ball defender and will help with steals. At this point, view Frye as a short-term solution, but he should be a committed part of the rotation for at least the next few weeks.

Jerian Grant G CHI – 10% Ownership: The Kris Dunn situation is very scary because he’s still feeling Concussion symptoms and can’t play. Despite acquiring Jameer Nelson in the Nikola Mirotic trade, Grant will still see a ton of minutes and he’s scored in double figures, dished at least five assists and grabbed two steals in three of his last five games. Grant is a better attacker than shooter, but owners can count on him for three pointers as he’s hit from long-range in his last six games. Grant has provided a lot more help grabbing long rebounds and for him to continue to earn more minutes, he’ll have to continue to move effectively around screens and grab long rebounds. Grant draws a lot of contact while driving and goes to the free-throw line and he’ll help owners shooting percentages. He’s even seen playing time in the 30’s and 40’s lately and even if Nelson grabs some of that time, control will still be in Grant’s destiny as he’s very familiar with how the Bulls offense runs.

D.J. Augustin PG ORL – 2% Ownership: Augustin’s minutes have been trending upward lately and he’s made more of a scoring impact lately. He’s scored in double figures in four of his last five games. He’s dished at least three assists in three of his last four games. Austin’s defense is much improved and he makes more of a defensive impact than Evan Fournier. He compiled two multi-steal games in his last four. He’s used as a bailout option on offense, but when he see’s the lane open, he’ll attack. He’s a very reliable outside shooter and gets open a lot. Aaron Gordon is a much better attacker than jump shooter and requires a lot more attention from the opposition and Augustin will see a lot of high percentage jumpers. The Magic continue to battle injuries and the veteran Augustin should continue to see just enough playing time to consider him a consistent part of the Magic’s rotation. He’s hit the 20-minute mark in his last 3 games.

Jarrett Allen PF/C BKN – 30% Ownership: The Nets are loosening the leash on Allen’s minutes and because of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson’s Groin injured, owners can expect Allen to a lot more minutes over his next few games. Allen has two double-doubles in his last five games and has blocked shots in four of his last five games. He has good leaping ability in the post and he’s improved his aggressiveness on the block. Allen’s scored in double figures in his last five games and he has a small long-range game that he’ll utilize from time to time. Expect him to take a few mid-range jumpers so he can draw the opposition out of the paint. He’s played at least 20 minutes in four of his last five games and because the Nets lack depth, expect him to be more involved in the rotation in the last couple of months for the season. Jahlil Okafor is another option the Nets will look to utilize so Allen could be just a short-term solution, but he’s definitely hot right now when it comes to scoring, rebounding and blocking shots.

Tomas Satoransky G WSH – 17% Ownership: I’m a little shocked that Satoransky has gotten more love in the Wizards rotation than Tim Frazier. Last time Wall was out, Frazier did an excellent job filling in and it is possible that Frazier ends up in this article in the next couple of weeks. It’s Satoransky that currently has the edge when it comes to filling in for the next six to eight weeks while Wall recovers from another Knee procedure. Satoransky has played over 20 minutes in his last three games and has scored in double figures in two of them. Satoransky is coming off of two multi-steal games and the defensive tenacity on the perimeter has been impressive. He’s very agile and fights through screens and will cause a lot of loose balls. He’s dished four or more assists over his last three games and as he gets more involved, the turnovers will drop. He’s grabbed at least three boards in his last three games. Every little bit helps, and as he continues to get into a rhythm, he’ll be even more aggressive when it comes to attacking the rim. He’s more of an attacker, but does have a long-range game. Again, we could be singing the praises of Tim Frazier in the next few weeks, but Satoransky has made more of an impact since Wall went down.

Stanley Johnson SG/SF DET – 21% Ownership: The Blake Griffin trade has put the Pistons in an interesting position. Rumors have surfaced that they could be looking to trade Johnson. At least over the next week, expect Johnson to be auditioning for other teams. Johnson has seen a ton of minutes over his last three games and has scored in double figures over his last three games. He’s been helpful with steals and blocks. Johnson dished at least three assists in four of his last five games. Johnson recently had a 10-rebound game and the defense has definitely been a presence. Tobias Harris and Avery Bradley being out of the way benefits Johnson and if he ends up not getting traded, owners can expect him to continue to play deep into games with the only threat to his playing time currently being Reggie Bullock. Pick him up, but know that the Pistons may not be done trading and could add another forward, or they could end up trading Johnson.

Andrew Harrison G MEM – 6% Ownership: Mike Conley has been ruled out for the rest of the season, Tyreke Evans is being benched until he’s traded and Mario Chalmers is dealing with an injured Hamstring. THE WORLD IS HARRISON’S OYSTER! We don’t know who Memphis would get back in return if and when Evans is traded. Expect Harrison to be playing games into the 30’s and he’s scored in double figures in his last four games. He’s more of an attacker than shooter, but does have a long-range game. He’s also a good ball handler. He’s dished at least six assists in four of his last five games. He’s also grabbed at least four boards over his last three games The defense is there and he’s been hanging around at the top of the paint to keep plays alive. The Grizzlies are strapped when it comes to guard depth and Harrison. We haven’t been able to rely on him for steals but, once again, due to the lack of depth, Harrison’s steals numbers are bound to go up. Memphis could bring in another guard via trade, but for now, we have to go with what we know and that’s Harrison will be seeing a ton of action on the court for the foreseeable future.

| WILD CARD PICK UP |

Kosta Koufos PF/C SAC – 4% Ownership: It’s been very hard keeping track of the Kings rotation all season. They’ve been benching their veterans randomly and have gone with inconsistent lineups. One thing we do know is that the Kings are facing some health issues at Center and between Willie Cauley-Stein and Skal Labissiere are hurt and the Kings are running out of options and when this happens, they turn to Koufos. Koufos has had a dominant last two games playing over 30 minutes and securing double-digit rebounds in both. Expect Koufos to play a secure amount of minutes over the next few weeks. Even when Cauley-Stein returns, Koufos will still be able to be his back up and he should hit the 20-minute mark. Koufos is a low-block specific player who gets all of his production from right under the basket. When he gets steals, it’s off of loose balls in the paint. He sets up in the paint and tries his best to draw contact in the post. Zach Randolph will be his biggest competition for minutes, but if Koufos can continue to make a strong impact, the Kings will have no problem keeping the veteran Randolph out of the game.
