2026 Fantasy Football Player Profile
2025 Season Recap
Cam Skattebo was the most exciting rookie running back in the league before his ankle gave out in Week 8. He averaged 15.9 PPR points per game, which led all rookie backs, and hit 19.1 points per game in contests where he had double-digit carries. He rushed for 410 yards and five touchdowns on 101 carries across those eight games, added 24 catches for 207 yards, and posted back-to-back weeks in September where he looked like a legitimate first-round pick redeeming himself. The ankle injury was a brutal blow for everyone who had invested in him.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Already under a new head coach in John Harbaugh, Skattebo enters his second NFL season as the consensus RB19. Harbaugh has already declared him ready to go for Week 1, which is great news. His offense is built around physicality and running the football, which is a perfect match for Skattebo's profile as a contact-seeker who refuses to go down on first contact. Tyrone Tracy Jr. will get some work too, but the lead back role is Skattebo's to lose. If he stays healthy for a full season in a Harbaugh run-first offense, we are talking about a legitimate top-10 RB finish, maybe better. He is a fourth-round pick with real upside and this is one of the picks we are most excited about making.
