2025 Season Recap
Cam Ward was the first overall pick in the 2025 draft and showed immediately why. He started all 17 games and threw for 3,169 yards with 15 touchdown passes against 7 interceptions, completing 59.8% of his passes despite absorbing a league-high 55 sacks behind one of the worst offensive lines in football. The arm talent, the mobility, and the toughness were all on display even when the weapons around him were not.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
This is a player we are genuinely fired up about heading into 2026. Tennessee used the fourth overall pick in the draft on Carnell Tate out of Ohio State, the consensus WR1 in this class, and pairing him with Ward is a legitimately exciting development. Year 2 quarterbacks who get a game-changing receiver typically make a significant jump, and Ward has the tools to do exactly that. He is the consensus QB22, which is QB2 territory, but the upside here is a QB1 finish. Tate, Wan'Dale Robinson, Calvin Ridley, and Gunnar Helm give this receiving corps something it simply did not have a year ago. It went from nothing to something real almost overnight. Ward is a must-target in the twelfth round.
