2025 Season Recap
Caleb Williams had a mixed sophomore campaign that showed flashes of why Chicago was so excited about him and moments that reminded everyone he still has work to do. He threw for 3,942 yards with 27 touchdowns against 7 interceptions across all 17 games, with his yards per attempt jumping to 7.3 under Ben Johnson's system. The accuracy, though, remained a problem that needs to get fixed before he can be considered an elite fantasy option.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Year 3 is where quarterbacks typically cement themselves, and Williams has all the ingredients for a big leap. Two full seasons in Johnson's system have made it clear the arm talent is there, and the expectation is that the accuracy and pre-snap processing that held him back finally clean themselves up. Luther Burden, Rome Odunze, and Colston Loveland are all young receivers who are developing alongside him, and that shared growth matters. The upside here is legitimately a top-three QB finish. The downside is another inconsistent season with too many misfires. He is consensus QB6 and that feels like the right range for a player with this much variance in his game.
