2024 Player Outlook

Xavier Leggette is the true definition of a "high risk, high reward" pick both for the NFL and for your fantasy football drafts. At 6'1", 211 pounds running a 4.39 forty yard dash, the athleticism is clearly there on paper. And it translates on film as well when you watch his final season of college where he had 71 catches for 1,255 yards and 7 touchdowns. The problem? Late college breakouts have an atrocious history of translating to the NFL and Xavier Legette is an extreme example of a late breakout - up until his FIFTH year in college, his best season saw 167 receiving yards. Pair that with the question marks surrounding Carolina's offense and Bryce Young and you've got about a spicy of a situation for fantasy football. I wouldn't necessarily want to count on him as my WR2 or WR3 right from the rip but these are the types of stabs that you might want to take with your bench spots
