2023 Player Outlook
The Seattle Seahawks decided to make Jaxon Smith-Njigba the top wide receiver of the 2023 NFL Draft with the 20th overall pick. He should immediately contribute out of the slot though it might be Mike Evans and Tyler Lockett on the field for two-WR sets in the early going. Because of that, the trajectory for JSN might end up looking a little more like Chris Godwin behind Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson than the immediate breakout of a guy like Justin Jefferson. Or maybe he's simply too good to come off the field right from Day 1. We will see.
