2026 Fantasy Football Player Profile

2025 Season Recap

Brock Purdy was a man possessed when he was on the field in 2025, leading all quarterbacks in EPA per play despite playing just nine games. The toe injury that kept him out for eight weeks was frustrating, but he returned and looked every bit as sharp as he did before going down. The 49ers stayed committed to him and added to the supporting cast this offseason, which only helps.

2026 Fantasy Outlook

Purdy is the consensus QB13, the first quarterback in the QB2 tier, and frankly we think that is a spot below where he belongs. Mike Evans coming over from Tampa Bay joins George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey in what is now one of the most complete offensive supporting casts in the league. When this guy plays a full season, he is a QB1. His efficiency numbers prove that over and over. The only thing holding you back from being fully committed is the durability question, and that is a legitimate one after two straight years of significant missed time. But at his price, the upside is too good to ignore. He is a buy in the eighth round.
