Sunday offers our first split DFS slate of the WNBA season. DraftKings is offering a three-game slate with the early game (Phoenix and Atlanta) along with the two late games, while FanDuel’s slate only includes the two late games. There do not appear to be too many value plays in the early game but there is plenty of star power. If you miss out on a huge game from someone like Tina Charles or Rhyne Howard, you could be behind the eight-ball heading into the late games.

Epiphanny PrinceSEANY470015.7###16.04
Prince played 29 minutes Friday and scored 16.5 fantasy points despite going 0-4 from the field. Seattle has more guard depth after signing Kaela Davis to a hardship contract Saturday but even so, Prince should play quite a bit.
Katie Lou SamuelsonLAMIN580016.2###15.68
The fourth overall draft pick in 2019 has started each of the last two games, averaging 29.6 minutes and 26.3 fantasy points. Her hot shooting probably won't continue but with Jordin Canada and Lexie Brown questionable, Samuelson's minutes should be safe, and she could get a bump in usage.
Brittney SykesLAMIN760025.75###28.43
Sykes finally recovered from her five-game shooting slump to start the season, though it hasn't mattered much as she has come off the bench the last two games. With Jordin Canada and Lexie Brown both questionable, Sykes could be a pretty nice fantasy value.
Chennedy CarterLAMIN550014.64###14.69
Among guards who have played at least 20 minutes this season, Carter is sixth in fantasy points per minute at 1.03, just ahead of Brittney Sykes. If Canada and Brown both sit, Carter would probably have to start. She would be a must-play in that case, and she should be a nice value if just one of those guards is ruled out.
Rhyne HowardATLPHIX910031.79####N/A
Howard looked like one of the safest guards in the league for fantasy before she went 0-9 at Washington Tuesday. I fully expect her to bounce back against a Phoenix team that is allowing the most fantasy points to opposing guards, but it is difficult to completely trust her.

Jewell LoydSEANY940028.82###28.03
Loyd is shooting just 28.6 percent from the field and 20 percent on threes in the last 10 days, but her fantasy production should be propped up by the lack of other scoring options on her team. She played 43 minutes and took 22 shots Friday and even if she doesn't quite reach those numbers Sunday, she should have an awfully high floor for fantasy.
Kayla McBrideMINLA780022.19###20.67
McBride struggled against her former team but she has averaged 27.7 fantasy points in her other three games. She is too good to stay in her current shooting slump for long, and it doesn't hurt that the Sparks are running out of guards to chase her around.

Stefanie DolsonNYSEA590015.93###16.09
With Ezi Magbegor out, Seattle does not have anyone who can match Dolson's size. Dolson scored 24 fantasy points in 32 minutes against Seattle Friday, and I see know reason why she can't at least match that production Sunday.
Jantel LavenderSEANY490012.86###12.36
Lavender wasn't great Friday but she did have 18.75 fantasy points in 29 minutes. Reshanda Gray doesn't have the size to match New York's post players, so Lavender pretty much has to play 30ish minutes
Rebecca AllenNYSEA840025###25.63
Allen topped 30 fantasy points in each of her two starts despite shooting 3-12 from the field and 1-8 on threes Friday. She should start again and get plenty of minutes and shots at a pretty reasonable price.
Natasha HowardNYSEA980028.46###28.26
Howard has at least 33 fantasy points in two straight games and while I would like her better if she topped 30 minutes played, she still looks like a really nice value on FanDuel. It doesn't hurt that she's playing her former club and both teams are shorthanded.
Breanna StewartSEANY####40.55###40.98
Stewart scored 55.75 fantasy points against New York Friday despite shooting 36.8 percent from the field. I think her ceiling is unmatched in this slate and her floor is as high as anyone's with so many of Seattle's rotation players out for this game.

Sylvia FowlesMINLA####38.28###38.83
After a slow start, Fowles has scored at least 30 fantasy points in six straight games, including 44 fantasy points at Los Angeles two weeks ago. With four days rest, I expect another big game against her former rivals.
Sam Thomas#N/A#N/A36001.92####N/A
Thomas played 15 minutes Wednesday and while she didn't do much with those minutes, she should be in the rotation again with Shey Peddy and Sophie Cunningham out. If you need a value play from the early game, Thomas looks like the best bet.
