In years past, one of my few complaints about playing WNBA DFS is that we rarely had large slates. With only 12 teams in the league, I felt fortunate when we had just three games in the same day; anything more than that was a rare treat. This year, with the schedule expanding to 40 games in basically the same number of days, we have been blessed with more WNBA DFS slates of four games or more. Besides just getting bigger slates, we are also seeing slightly different slates between the two sites. Last Sunday, we saw DraftKings offer all six games in its main slate, while FanDuel cut their main slate down to four. This week it is the opposite. If you want to use Liberty or Mercury players, you’ll need to make a lineup on FanDuel. If you want to sleep in, you’ll still have four games to choose from on DraftKings. In either case, you will want to check the WNBA starting lineups before each game. I highly recommend you check out both WNBA channels on the FantasyAlarm Discord server. It is the best source I have found for WNBA news, and you can ask me questions and get my reactions to the news on the WNBA channel. That will be especially important Thursday since all three games tip-off at different times. If we get news after the first game or two has started, we need to adjust accordingly. The winning players will most likely be the ones who make the best adjustments as the day goes along.

 
Guards

We are still waiting for Cunningham to explode like she did down the stretch last season, but if Diana Taurasi and Brittney Griner are out again, we may not have to wait much longer. Cunningham has at least 23.2 fantasy points in five of her last seven games, so we're getting a good floor along with the ceiling she displayed a year ago.

I thought Meng Li looked great in her first WNBA start, though her fantasy production didn't quite match her on-court impact. Natasha Cloud and Brittney Sykes are both dealing with injuries, so there is a good chance Meng gets another start and plays 25+ minutes. One important thing to keep in mind is that Meng is a forward on DraftKings, though she is still playable there if she starts.
Jackie YoungLVMIN880033.8###33.39
You could make a strong case for any of the top-tier guards Sunday, but Young has a couple of points in her favor. She is averaging two more fantasy points than any guard on the slate, and Minnesota has allowed more fantasy points to guards than any team on the slate. Despite leading the slate in fantasy points, six guards cost more than Young on DraftKings. She is less consistent than I would like for her price, but it helps that she had 41.5 fantasy points in her first meeting with Minnesota.

Hayes was just 1-7 from the field her last time out, but she still reached 20 fantasy points for the sixth time in her last  nine games. We are getting a pretty good price for that kind of production.

Gray is averaging 32.7 FPPG since Aari McDonald went out. You'll pay a premium on DraftKings but I love the price on FanDuel.
Forwards

Smith is the cheapest forward who has a realistic chance of offering elite fantasy production. Smith has topped 45 fantasy points twice this season, including in her only meeting with Atlanta. Smith's ceiling is just as high as Aliyah Boston's, and you're getting it a lot cheaper.

I still don't understand why Jones is playing so little, but at least she has finally topped 20 minutes her last two games. She is averaging 27 fantasy points over her last three games, and I'll take that at this price.

Carleton's offense comes and goes, but if it comes, she might have the highest upside of any of the value forwards. We know Carleton will be active on the boards, and she definitely deserves consideration if she gets another start.

Parks is more expensive than the other value forwards but she is probably the safest if Kahleah Copper is out again. Parks has played 20+ minutes twice this season and she topped 20 fantasy points in both games.

You can pivot to A'ja Wilson if you have to, but even the reigning MVP can't match Thomas's consistency. Thomas has at least 36.75 fantasy points in 10 of her 11 games this season. I'll pay for Thomas on FanDuel but she (along with Wilson) is too cheap on DraftKings.
