WNBA DFS Playbook July 7: Top DraftKings & FanDuel WNBA DFS Picks
Friday’s WNBA DFS slate is unusual in that there is significant injury news for a handful of top-tier players, and yet the value tier is still full of questions that are risky at best. Even if Diana Taurasi, Natasha Cloud, Kelsey Plum and Elena Delle Donne are all out, the main beneficiaries impacting WNBA DFS top picks could be more expensive players who should have been on your radar already. The one exception could be Washington, where we could get one or two cheap starters once WNBA lineups come out, even if Ariel Atkins would probably benefit the most from those absences. Be sure to check the starting lineups before each game and update your WNBA DFS lineups accordingly. Let's now look at the top WNBA DFS picks on DraftKings and FanDuel for Friday, July 7th.

| Atkins had a team-high 24 points on 16 field-goal attempts Monday with Elena Delle Donne out. With Delle Donne and Natasha Cloud both questionable, Atkins has a good chance to lead her team yet again Friday. | ||||||

| In the three games Cunningham played without Taurasi this season, she averaged 25.08 fantasy points. You can pivot to Sug Sutton if you need to, but Cunningham is a better bet to shoulder the offensive load with Taurasi out. | ||||||

| Shatori Walker-Kimbrough is probably safer if she starts, but Meng is cheaper on both sites and she is a forward on DraftKings. If Elena Delle Donne and/or Natasha Cloud are out, whoever starts for Washington will be playable for fantasy. | ||||||

| You could argue Jackie Young has a higher ceiling, but Gray has been more consistent of late, and both were great against Dallas Wednesday. I'll like Gray better if Kelsey Plum is out again but I would be tempted to play Gray either way. | ||||||

| Howard has at least 32 fantasy points in six of her last eight games. I don't know how Chicago has managed to defend guards so well this season but Howard is good enough for me to not worry about the matchup. | ||||||

| Egbo is averaging 0.94 fantasy points per minute this season after averaging 0.86 fppm as a rookie. She is making her Mystics debut Friday after she was traded for Amanda Zahui B. Zahui B. started Monday and played 19 minutes with Elena Delle Donne out. If Delle Donne is out again, Egbo would be playable on both sites. She is worth a shot on DraftKings even if Delle Donne plays. | ||||||

| Boston's best game of the season came against Washington, and she is one of several bigs around the league who have had success attacking the rim against the Mystics. Boston has played at least 37 minutes in two straight games and with Amanda Zahui B. making her Indianapolis debut, there is a good chance Boston and NaLyssa Smith play heavy minutes again. | ||||||

| I have no idea what Hebard's role will be, but I don't think any of Chicago's forwards have played well enough to keep her out of the rotation. This is her first time being active this season, and she has averaged 0.75 fantasy points per minute in her career. Atlanta has allowed the most fantasy points to forwards this season and at this price, the risk is pretty low. | ||||||

| McCowan played a season-high 30 minutes Wednesday, topping 30 fantasy points for the third time in four games. If Kalani Brown is out again, McCowan is the best mid-priced forward on the slate. | ||||||

| Wilson scored 46.75 fantasy points against Dallas Wednesday, giving her at least 45 fantasy points in four of her last five games. I see no reason to believe why she wouldn't do that again, especially if Kelsey Plum remains out. | ||||||

| I'm not sure why Juhasz is so cheap, especially on FanDuel. She has at least 20 FD fantasy points in six of her last eight games, and she was injured in one of those. She had 27.2 FD fantasy points at Phoenix Saturday. | ||||||
