The WNBA All-Star break wasn’t exceptionally long, but I think it could do wonders for some Hall-of-Fame players who have been nursing injuries or facing load management. Most of the teams in Tuesday’s four-game WNBA DFS slate appear to be healthy, so identifying older players who could benefit from some time off could be a great way to extract some value from the slate.

Brittney SykesLAWAS800025.51710026.92
Sykes averaged 32.25 fantasy points in her last three games before being sidelined with covid. She had plenty of time to recover during the All-Star break so I think there is a pretty good chance she hits the ground running.
Riquna WilliamsLVNY460011.29420010.80
Williams played a season-high 23 minutes Wednesday and while she hasn't produced much for fantasy since returning from a foot injury, I think it is coming.
Sophie CunninghamPHOMIN700019.91510019.17
I am really interested to see if Cunningham can hang at the four against Minnesota. I am skeptical, but Cunningham has played at least 31 minutes and scored at least 24.5 fantasy points in five straight games, so maybe I shouldn't be. Cunningham had 11 fantasy points in 14.4 minutes in her only game against Minnesota this season and if she can stay on the floor, she should produce for fantasy yet again.
Natasha CloudWASLA850027.94690026.95
I could see pivoting to Ariel Atkins in a GPP or if you really need to save some money, but Cloud has at least 20 fantasy points in 15 consecutive games. Los Angeles has allowed the most fantasy points to guards this season and Cloud had 43.25 fantasy points against them three weeks ago, albeit with Elena Delle Donne out of the lineup.
Diana TaurasiPHOMIN910027.72650026.10
Taurasi should benefit from the time off, even though she did compete in the All-Star game. She is averaging 29.8 fantasy points in two games against Minnesota and 28.7 fantasy points in three games with 4+ days of rest. I think Taurasi is always a better for tournaments than for cash games, but I'll consider her in both, especially on FanDuel.

Sabrina IonescuNYLV1120039.83890037.50
I wanted to make an argument for playing Skylar Diggins-Smith or Kelsey Plum instead but unless there is no other place in your lineup to save money, I really can't make it. Las Vegas is 10th in fantasy points allowed to guards and Ionescu had 70.25 fantasy points against them last week. She followed that up with 43.5 fantasy points in Phoenix the very next night, and I think that is about her floor for this game. She has at least 37.75 fantasy points in nine consecutive games.

Elena Delle DonneWASLA1000030.25830030.28
Delle Donne is averaging 36.7 fantasy points on 6+ days rest. Only two teams have allowed more fantasy points to forwards than Los Angeles, making Delle Donne a complete no-brainer.
Kia VaughnATLCHI40009.0835009.00
Vaughn started Thursday and finished with 12.25 fantasy points in 17 minutes. That isn't much to write home about, but it was her third consecutive game with double-digit fantasy points. Vaughn is a decent punt play so long as Nia Coffey remains out, especially if she starts again.
Emma MeessemanCHIATL980028.77730029.80
Atlanta's post defense has been better on paper this season, but I don't really understand how. Emma Meesseman is averaging 40.0 fantasy points in two games against Atlanta, and I see no reason to believe they will slow her down Tuesday. Candace Parker is probably safer but she is much more expensive.
Sylvia FowlesMINPHO820032.19750032.51
Fowles has at least 23.75 fantasy points in five of her last six games, despite playing no more than 24 minutes in any of them. Her price has finally dropped far enough on FanDuel to make it worth paying for that kind of floor. I also think there is a decent chance she will play more minutes coming off the All-Star break, which would give her a higher ceiling than she has shown of late.
Brianna TurnerPHOMIN780021.4550022.62
Turner has been pretty quiet since Tina Charles left for Seattle, but she has been consistent, with at least 19.75 fantasy points in five consecutive games. While I might look for someone with a lower price or higher ceiling on DK, she looks like a great value on FD.

Myisha Hines-AllenWASLA730019.17630018.49
Hines-Allen is a better fantasy points when Elena Delle Donne sits, but she has at least 20 fantasy points in four straight games with Delle Donne in the lineup. She is a solid cash play, especially considering the matchup.
A'ja WilsonLVNY1090040.3900040.79
Wilson has at least 40 fantasy points in five of her last six games and eight of her last 10. She had 48.8 fantasy points against New York last week and I see no reason to believe this week will be much different.
