It is rare to get back-to-back WNBA DFS playbooks, but that is what we have Wednesday thanks to a rematch between Los Angeles and New York. I usually avoid players on back-to-backs, especially in the WNBA, but that’s not an option. With Chiney Ogwumike out and neither team having to travel, I feel better about using players from that game than I might otherwise. As should be the case for the rest of the season, all three games have significant playoff implications, so the best players should get plenty of minutes even if they are on short rest.

WNBA DFS Top Guards

Aari McDonaldATLIND620019.95###19.78
McDonald will presumably start for Tiffany Hayes, but even if she comes off the bench, McDonald should get plenty of shots and minutes. In six starts this season, McDonald has averaged 27.3 fantasy points. She will be a must-start if she comes close to that Wednesday.
Jewell LoydSEAMIN930027.4###26.42
I think Loyd has been underpriced on FD all season and that remains the case Wednesday. Loyd played surprisingly well in back-to-back games at Washington and this matchup is much better. The top guards are much more difficult to afford on FD so I will gladly pay $2000 less for Loyd.
Marine JohannesNYLA670019.62###18.49
Johannes scored 24.25 fantasy points in 22 minutes Tuesday and she is young enough that I'm not particularly worried about how she will perform on the second night of a back-to-back. Perhaps more importantly, Los Angeles is 11th in fantasy points allowed to guards and Johannes is averaging 29.6 fantasy points in two games against them. I especially like her price on FanDuel.
Destanni HendersonINDATL600011.85###11.43
I don't really trust Henderson, but she remains the cheapest guard in Indiana's rotation despite playing 31 minutes and scoring 22.5 fantasy points Sunday in Kelsey Mitchell's first game out. I might try to pay up for Tiffany Mitchell if I had some extra cash but Henderson certainly looks like the best value. Henderson has averaged 0.81 fantasy points per minute against Atlanta this season.
Sue BirdSEAMIN720021.25###20.45
Seattle played three road games in four days last week against Washington and Connecticut and Bird played at least 27 minutes and scored at least 23 fantasy points in all three. Now, with a few days' rest, I expect Bird to pick up where she left off against a Minnesota team that has allowed the most fantasy points to guards. In her only game against Minnesota this season, Bird scored 33 fantasy points in 22 minutes.

Sabrina IonescuNYLA####38.88###36.63
All of the numbers point to another big game for Ionescu. Los Angeles is 11th out of 12 teams in fantasy points allowed to guards, and Ionescu has averaged 44.4 fantasy points against them. Ionescu is averaging 43.0 fantasy points at home and 42.7 in the last 10 days. All three top guards look like strong fantasy plays but I'm paying up for Ionescu if I can.

WNBA DFS Top Forwards

Olivia Nelson-OdodaLANY44008.14###8.42
She had season-highs with 24 minutes and 24 fantasy points Tuesday and while I don't necessarily expect her to repeat the latter, she should play 20+ minutes with Chiney Ogwumike out again.
Nneka OgwumikeLANY####33.91###34.27
I just don't see how New York can shut her down two days in a row, even if her supporting cast is decidedly underwhelming. There are safer forwards on the slate but Nneka might be my favorite GPP play.
Naz HillmonATLIND780012.7###12.65
HIllmon's production has cratered recently but she continues to play at least 30 mpg every time out. Indiana is last in fantasy points allowed to forwards and Hillmon is eminently affordable.
Breanna StewartSEAMIN####40.03###40.71
I was shocked at how easy it is to afford Stewart, especially on FanDuel. She was just okay against Connecticut and Washington but she is too good to be held down for long. And she is pretty easily the safest forward on the slate.
Emma CannonINDATL47009.52#N/A#N/A
I don't understand why Cannon isn't available on FanDuel, but she could be a nice value on DK with Emily Engstler out. Cannon played 18 minutes and scored 13 fantasy points Sunday and I would think she should at least get close to those numbers again Wednesday.

Xu HanNYLA610018.29###18.75
Xu was outstanding against Los Angeles Tuesday, scoring 35.75 fantasy points in 27 minutes. This remains a fantastic matchup with Chiney Ogwumike out and at just 22 years old, I am not concerned about Xu playing back-to-back. She is a bit risky, but everyone is in her price range.
Cheyenne ParkerATLIND970026.09###26.47
I think I am probably just avoiding forwards in this price range, but Parker's matchup and upside are too good to ignore. I would love her if we knew she would play 30ish minutes, but she should be able to dominate Indiana's rookie frontcourt even in limited minutes.
