We discussed fading the Washington Mystics in Friday’s WNBA DFS Playbook, which was probably a mistake. While we were correct to worry that the returning starters would play just enough to render the entire front-court unplayable, Natasha Cloud and Brittney Sykes managed to each outscore Diana Taurasi and Jewell Loyd. I still think Cloud and Sykes will take a step back once Elena Delle Donne and Ariel Atkins have moved past their minutes restrictions, which means this could be our last chance to play them for DFS this season. Delle Donne and Shakira Austin are out Sunday, and Washington is home to a Dallas team that is tenth in fantasy points allowed to guards.

Washington is just one of several teams with strong matchups Sunday. The five teams that have allowed the most fantasy points to guards and five of the six that have allowed the most fantasy points to forwards are all in action. In addition, we have several players who I believe are underpriced due to recent injuries to themselves or teammates. There are strong plays throughout Sunday’s WNBA DFS slate, but I have found myself mostly avoiding the middle tier just because I can. There are enough value plays I like to allow me to play multiple starts in most of my lineups.

Tiffany MitchellMINSEA610013.74440013.00
We are not getting Mitchell at a discount like we did on Friday, but after Mitchell started and played 28 minutes with Lindsay Allen out, she looks like one of the best values in her price range.
Brittney SykesWASDAL1040031.8760032.01
I might pivot to DeWanna Bonner on DraftKings if I need to, but Sykes is my favorite top-tier guard on both sites. I still think she'll turn into a pumpkin once Elena Delle Donne is back to her normal minutes, but for now, Sykes has scored at least 28.25 fantasy points in ten consecutive games. Only two teams have allowed more fantasy points to guards than Dallas this season.
Natasha CloudWASDAL920028.05660027.63
Cloud is too cheap on FanDuel, where she is in the same price range as Erica Wheeler and the Sky guards. Cloud has averaged 30.1 FPPG in the  last ten days and she should maintain that production with Elena Delle Donne out.
Erica WheelerINDPHO790022.89690022.13
Speaking of Wheeler, she has quietly scored at least 25 fantasy points in five of her last six games. I don't entirely trust her for cash games, but her DK price hasn't caught up to her recent production. It also doesn't hurt that Phoenix is ninth in fantasy points allowed to guards and Wheeler has averaged 24.3 fantasy points in three games against them.
Sami WhitcombSEAMIN800019.3560018.17
Whitcomb is the cheapest of the mid-tier guards I trust on FanDuel. I might pivot to Tiffany Hayes or Moriah Jefferson if I have extra money to spend, but Whitcomb is pretty cheap for someone averaging 24.9 FPPG in ten starts this season.

Megan GustafsonPHOIND620013.36450013.12
With Brittney Griner ruled out and Megan Gustafson off the injury report, Gustafson is a must-play. She has averaged 27.2 minutes and 24.7 fantasy points in three starts this season.
Tianna HawkinsWASDAL720019.64570019.38
Hawkins struggled Friday with Elena Delle Donne and Shakira Austin back but with both out Sunday, this is our last chance to play Hawkins for the foreseeable future. Hawkins averaged 29.0 fantasy points in her last six games with Delle Donne and Austin out and she is $1,300 cheaper on DraftKings than she was on Friday.
Elizabeth WilliamsCHICON900025.24670026.95
I don't know how much I'll be shopping in this price range, especially on DraftKings, but Williams looks like the clear choice. She averaged 30.5 fantasy points in two games against Connecticut, and she has at least 36 fantasy points in three of her last four games.
Dorka JuhaszMINSEA600019.22550019.43
Juhasz scored 30 fantasy points in 29 minutes Friday and her price dropped $1,900 on DraftKings (its $200 higher on FanDuel). Juhasz and Shepard may cut into each other's fantasy value all season, but Juhasz is way too cheap on DraftKings. I'll like her even better if she returns to the starting lineup.
Alyssa ThomasCONCHI1150044.81920043.67
Thomas is quite affordable on DraftKings, but I might try to fit her in my FanDuel lineups as well. Thomas has at least 42.5 fantasy points in four straight games, and she has averaged 48.5 fantasy points in two games against the Sky this season. Chicago is 11th in fantasy points allowed to forwards.

Satou SaballyDALWAS1090039.2860037.95
I would be awfully tempted to pivot to Aliyah Boston, especially on DraftKings. But I've been beating the drum for Boston ever since Indiana realized they couldn't survive with Victoria Vivians playing 25 mpg at the four. As good as Boston has been in her last seven games, that simply matches Sabally's season-long production. What makes Sabally stand out for me is her 52.3 FFPG in three games against Washington.
