After two consecutive losses, Hurts delivered a standout performance against the Vikings, throwing for 326 yards and three touchdowns. He’s now surpassed 280 passing yards in three straight games. This weekend, the Eagles face the Giants, eager to avenge their loss from two weeks ago.

Baker Mayfield, QB Tampa Bay Buccaneers - DraftKings: $6,400 | FanDuel: $8,300

Baker Mayfield struggled on Monday Night Football against a relentless Lions pass rush, and the Bucs lost Mike Evans to injury again. However, this week, Tampa Bay faces a weak Saints defense. Drake Maye has aced every challenge so far, and after the Patriots swept a three-game road trip, they return home to face the Cleveland Browns this weekend. The Browns' formidable defensive line and pass rush will test Maye like few others this season. While Cleveland’s secondary is vulnerable, allowing Maye to exploit them if given time in the pocket, a struggling offensive line could force him to scramble, raising the risk of turnovers and making for a tough day.

Bo Nix, QB Denver Broncos - DraftKings: $6,000 | FanDuel: $7,800

In the first three quarters against the Giants last week, the Broncos' passing game struggled, leaving doubts about its potential. Then, Bo Nix erupted in the fourth quarter, finishing with 279 passing yards, two touchdown passes, 48 rushing yards, and two rushing scores. With another home game this weekend against a faltering Dallas Cowboys defense, Nix is likely to be the top DFS pick on the slate.

Caleb Williams, QB Chicago Bears - DraftKings: $5,600 | FanDuel: $7,500

Caleb Williams had a rough Week 7, completing under 60% of his passes for the third consecutive week, managing only 172 yards and no touchdowns against a weak New Orleans Saints defense. This week, he gets the best matchup for quarterbacks this season against the Baltimore Ravens. Despite the Ravens playing at home off a bye, quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes and C.J. Stroud threw for four touchdowns against them, signaling strong upside for Williams and the Bears' passing attack.

 

 

 

NFL Week 7 DFS QB Value Picks

Joe Flacco, QB Cincinnati Bengals - DraftKings: $5,400 | FanDuel: $7,300

At 40, Joe Flacco is keeping the Bengals' season alive. He went head-to-head with Aaron Rodgers on Thursday Night Football, completing 31 of 47 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns. In his two starts for Cincinnati, Flacco has thrown five touchdowns, no interceptions, and completed 65% of his passes. This week, the Bengals host the winless New York Jets. There's every reason to expect Flacco to throw 40+ passes again, with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins poised to dominate.

Jaxson Dart, QB New York Giants - DraftKings: $5,500 | FanDuel: $7,400

Why not back him? He outplayed the Eagles at home on Thursday Night Football, then went to Denver, throwing for 283 yards and three touchdowns, plus a rushing score. Sure, his 45% completion rate wasn’t ideal, but he set the Giants up to win, only for the defense to falter. Now, still on the road, he faces that same Eagles team he defeated two weeks ago. I’m skeptical, but for DFS, he’s been a consistent performer, never dipping below 18.6 fantasy points since becoming the starting QB.

 

 

 

NFL DFS QB Fades for Week 8

Josh Allen, QB Buffalo Bills - DraftKings: $7,500 | FanDuel: $9,000

I get the risk of fading Josh Allen. The Bills, coming off a crucial bye week, face the Carolina Panthers. However, Allen is the priciest quarterback on the slate. Buffalo has struggled, dropping their last two games before the bye, while the Panthers are playing better and have been solid at home this season. I’m not saying Allen won’t perform well, but given his cost, other quarterbacks have more favorable matchups this week.
