The 2025 NFL Playoffs are heating up as the Divisional Round brings a thrilling slate of matchups, providing plenty of opportunities for NFL DFS players to cash in on DraftKings and FanDuel.

This weekend’s action features an intriguing mix of elite quarterbacks and rising stars battling for a shot at the conference championships.

From Jared Goff and the top-seeded Detroit Lions hosting rookie sensation Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders, to a heavyweight showdown between Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen as the Ravens visit the Bills, there’s no shortage of fantasy potential.

Add in Jalen Hurts leading the Eagles against Matthew Stafford and the Rams, plus Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs taking on C.J. Stroud’s Texans, and you’ve got a QB slate loaded with explosive upside.

Let’s dive into the top quarterback picks for this high-stakes weekend of NFL action.

NFL DFS QB Top Tier & Play of the Week For Divisional Round

Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders

Boy, did Daniels look great in his NFL playoff debut. The rookie completed 68.6% of his passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns while adding 36 yards rushing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In the Divisional Round the Commanders certainly have their work cut out as they take on the top seeded Detroit Lions but the Lions defense hasn't always been that sharp this season.

Yes, they will blitz and look to put Daniels under duress but he's shown the ability to stand in the pocket and make the right throws when they are there and he has elite rushing upside.

In a game being played in a dome where the other QB's are in the elements this weekend, I think Daniels could come out among the top scoring players even in a losing effort.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

We saw this matchup back in Week 4 and it did not go well for Allen and the Bills as the Ravens blitzed them in a 35-10 beat down.

In that game Allen completed just 55% of his passes for 189 yards with zero touchdowns and just 21 rushing yards.

That game was played in Baltimore and this is a completely different Buffalo Bills team who will have the home field here in this playoff matchup.

The weather in Buffalo is going to be cold, shocker, and it may snow but there shouldn't be any wind and this Ravens defense is going to be put to the test which is certainly something they didn't face against the Steelers last week.

NFL DFS QB Mid-Tier Picks For Divisional Round

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

The Lions offense is in a really good spot here this weekend. They are expected to have BOTH David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs active against a Commanders defense that struggles to stop the run.

This may cause many to fade Goff in favor of the running backs but I think that makes for a great low-rostered opportunity on a small slate.

Goff has put up some solid passing numbers this season and if Jayden Daniels turns this game into a shootout you will see Goff look to make some downfield plays to Jameson Williams and Amon-Ra St.Brown.

If he throws a pair of touchdown passes that could be enough for him to be among the top scoring QB's on the slate.

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

While I still think this ends up being more of a Saquon Barkley type of game, I won't discount the fact that Hurts threw for two touchdowns last week against the Packers and is always live to add a rushing touchdown or two if the Eagles get down by the goal line.

The weather in Philly is going to be cold but nothing too major. Let's hope he and AJ Brown can get on the same page this weekend.

NFL DFS QB Value Picks For Divisional Round

Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

A value play in Patrick Mahomes is not something I expected to see but the defending Super Bowl champions kick off their run at a repeat with a home matchup agaisnt the Houston Texans.

Yes, the Texans defense looked elite last week against the Los Angeles Chargers but this is Patrick Mahomes and this Chiefs offense is far from a one-trick pony with Hollywood Brown, Xavier Worthy, DeAndre Hopkins, Travis Kelce and Noah Gray all capable of making plays against this Texans defense.

Remember, the Steelers defense was supposed to be tough too and we saw Mahomes go on the road and throw for 320 yards and three touchdowns the last time he took the field.

I'm not going to doubt Mahomes in this spot, he and Andy Reid know how to win football games.

NFL DFS QB Fades For Divisional Round

C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans

He was better than I expected him to be last week as the Texans pulled off the home upset over the Los Angeles Chargers. Stroud completed 66.7% of his passes for 282 yards while adding 42 yards rushing. He threw one touchdown and an interception.

The success will end there however as Stroud has consistently struggled on the road through his first two seasons in the league and will now be heading on the road to face the top seeded Kansas City Chiefs in a game that is going to be cold and windy.
