Believe it or not, it’s already time to see the NFL head overseas. That’s not out of the ordinary in and of itself, but what is unique is that it will be in Ireland for the first time ever! Dublin is where the college football season has been kicking off, and for the NFL’s first appearance there, we’ve got our best Vikings vs. Steelers predictions for you.

We also recognize that fans in Minnesota don’t have legal sports betting, but you can still add value to our Vikings vs. Steelers picks with the guaranteed Novig Sportsbook promo code bonus that we’ve also provided (available in ALL states other than AL, CO, ID, LA, MI, MT, NV and TN)!

Vikings vs. Steelers Predictions for NFL Week 4, Sunday 9/28

Well, it’s safe to say that although Minnesota has to take the long flight to Ireland, they’ll do so in as high of spirits as possible. Sure, the Cincinnati Bengals were without Joe Burrow, but a 48-10 thrashing against any NFL team feels awesome, not to mention that Minnesota also started backup Carson Wentz.

Facing yet another AFC North team likely has them even more excited, although Pittsburgh is coming off a victory themselves. It was far from the dominant experience that the Vikings had, as they needed a late TD to take down the New England Patriots 21-14.

Minnesota is also a team that the league sends overseas a bit more than others (although not on the level of the Jacksonville Jaguars). They beat the New York Jets in London last year, and they'll be back there just a week after this game! That means a very long stay starting ahead of this game, which should certainly be considered for Vikings vs. Steelers predictions.

Vikings vs. Steelers Best Bet: Carson Wentz To Throw An Interception (-135 at Novig)

As we’ve come to expect for International Series games, we see quite a low total when looking at the latest Vikings vs. Steelers odds. In fact, it’s even come down since the lines originally opened, and given that these teams allowed just a combined 24 points, surely we just take the under, right?

Well, we truthfully only trust one of the defenses in this matchup - the Vikings. If not for the Pats fumbling TWICE at the goal line and shooting themselves in the foot in plenty of other ways, the Steelers would have looked more like what we saw from them in Weeks 1 and 2.

That was allowing 32 and 31 points, and the numbers suggest that should continue; Pittsburgh has allowed the fifth-most rushing yards per game and seventh-most passing yards per game. That had us wanting to take Minnesota's team total, but with two of their TDs last weekend coming on defense and scoring just 9 points the week prior, it didn’t quite make the cut.

What did make the cut was a defensive play in a different respect. Despite having a banged-up secondary, the Steelers have still recorded three picks through three games, and had one of the worst dropped interceptions of the season last weekend.

We know that Carson Wentz became a backup due to being turnover-prone, trying to do too much, and while it was quite some time ago with the Philadelphia Eagles, he had two picks. We’d take Minnesota to win the game, but as for the best bet from our Vikings vs. Steelers predictions, we’ve got Carson Wentz to throw an interception (-135 at Novig).

Vikings vs. Steelers Injury Report & Latest News

Of course, JJ McCarthy still being sidelined with his ankle injury is the biggest loss when it comes to Vikings vs. Steelers news in Minnesota. That’s right alongside Aaron Jones, recently going on IR, and they also have concerns with Ryan Kelly at center.

Regarding Vikings vs. Steelers injury updates in Pittsburgh, the aforementioned banged-up secondary has been without Joey Porter and DeShon Elliott, hence their signing of Jabrill Peppers. Offensively, they’re as healthy as it gets, and you can keep tabs on more than Vikings vs. Steelers news with the Fantasy Alarm NFL injury report.
