It’s the time of year. That time for the bitter rivalries of not just the AFC North, but the fiercely physical one between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens. Plenty has changed throughout the years, but what hasn’t is that it’s arguably the rivalry with the most hate behind it in the NFL, and we’ve got our best Steelers vs. Ravens predictions for Sunday.

Even if you just kick back and watch this battle play out, you can use more than Steelers vs. Ravens picks to claim the monster $1,500 BetMGM Sportsbook promo code bonus that we’ve also shared below!

Steelers vs. Ravens Predictions for NFL Week 14, Sunday 12/7

Since we’ve seen the Steelers on the field far more recently, what happened when we last saw Lamar Jackson and the Ravens? It was back on Thanksgiving Day, and they should be glad to have the extra rest here. They lost by 18 points to the then 3-8 Cincinnati Bengals in Joe Burrow’s return.

Seeing Baltimore's offense score just 14 points against the NFL’s worst defense is sure to have plenty of fans refusing to back them with any Steelers vs. Ravens predictions. For what it’s worth, we at least made sure to exploit the Bengals' terrible defense against the TE position by hitting one of our NFL expert picks on Mark Andrews.

Interestingly enough, Pittsburgh has been quite poor against them as well, allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to TEs this season. The key for the Steelers to “steal” this game from the Ravens will be forcing turnovers, as Cincinnati did. Baltimore had 11 ALL of last season; they committed FIVE on Thanksgiving alone.

Of course, we’ve got more to break down when it comes to finding a best bet from our Steelers vs. Ravens predictions.

Steelers vs. Ravens Best Bet: Lamar Jackson Over 1.5 Passing TDs (+100 at BetMGM)

Unfortunately, nothing can be discussed between these rivals without noting injuries first. We’ve seen both QBs - Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson - battle back from injuries, but clearly, neither is 100% healthy. The rest of Baltimore’s banged-up guys are on defense, and speaking of which, even Pittsburgh superstar TJ Watt was injured at the tail end of Sunday’s loss.

That didn’t appear to be anything serious, but with Patrick Queen and James Pierre also getting injured against the Bills, their defense continues to be an issue. That also means that we may not be factoring in a Patrick Queen revenge game into our Steelers vs. Ravens predictions, but we’ll certainly be considering the Pittsburgh defense as a whole.

Despite being the highest-paid units in the entire NFL, they were manhandled by Buffalo without BOTH starting offensive tackles. In tandem with the Ravens defense, we’re looking at two of the worst pass defenses in the league. At the same time, these offenses have also been far from explosive, which is especially damning in Baltimore.

Even still, the Steelers vs. Ravens odds have Baltimore as significant favorites. They’ll be the ones with more rest, but this could also be a case of simply seeing Pittsburgh fail quite miserably more recently; let’s not forget that the Ravens were also rather embarrassed by the Bengals on Thanksgiving Day.

The optimal way for Baltimore to bounce back is to utilize the TE position. Pittsburgh has been utterly awful against it, and when these teams last met, Mark Andrews AND Isaiah Likely both scored! The Steelers have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game against TEs, but we don’t want to play the pick-your-position game with our Steelers vs. Ravens picks.

Instead, we’ll just look at it from a totality standpoint. When Baltimore hosted Pittsburgh last, Lamar Jackson had three passing TDs, and right now, he’s clearly not 100% in terms of his legs. That means fewer designed runs in the redzone, and along with the Zay Flowers threat, we’ve got Lamar Jackson over 1.5 passing TDs (+100 at BetMGM) as the best bet from our Steelers vs. Ravens predictions.
