Rams vs. Cardinals Predictions, Picks & Odds: NFL Week 14, Sunday 12/7
The NFC West finally had a break from playing one another this past weekend, but that break is already over. Arguably the strongest division in the NFL is back with their rivalries this weekend, which includes arguably the best overall team in the NFL, the Los Angeles Rams, taking on the Arizona Cardinals. Of course, that means we have our best Rams vs. Cardinals predictions for Sunday.
That’s not all that we’ve got for you - we’ve also broken down a guaranteed Onyx Odds promo code bonus alongside our top Rams vs. Cardinals picks!
Rams vs. Cardinals Predictions for NFL Week 14, Sunday 12/7
It’s not often that we see these NFC West teams in the early 1 PM ET window of games, but since they were both on the road this past Sunday (and the San Francisco 49ers to boot), that’s exactly what we got. Despite being the #1 seed in the NFC at the time, the cross-country road trip to take on the Carolina Panthers was clearly not enjoyed by the Rams.
While we appreciated Kyren Williams cashing yet another one of our NFL expert picks, losing to Bryce Young and company as massive 10-point underdogs (31-28) is sure to have some fans scared to back LA with their Rams vs. Cardinals predictions. At the same time, the banged-up Arizona squad didn’t look remarkable just south of the Rams in Florida, either.
They were in a battle themselves with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but despite having a chance to pull off a game-winning drive, they also lost by just three points. That loss was far less surprising than the one by Matthew Stafford and the Rams, especially given that the QB set an NFL record less than three minutes into the game.
That was with the most TD passes (28) without an interception. It was short-lived, but before we start getting too far into things, we can transition into the best bet from our Rams vs. Cardinals predictions.

Rams vs. Cardinals Best Bet: LA -5.5 First Half Spread (-110 at Onyx Odds)
Matthew Stafford came closer to more NFL history by also throwing his 31st career pick-six, just one shy of Brett Favre for the most ever. With the loss, Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears now hold the #1 overall seed in the NFC; yes, you read that correctly. So, why on Earth are we backing LA with our Rams vs. Cardinals predictions?
We never like seeing West Coast teams as monster favorites while traveling to the East Coast for a 1 PM ET game, so the spot was never favorable for them. Sure, Arizona traveled to Florida as well, but they faced an equally banged-up Bucs team and played ugly throughout. We still trust the Rams' defense, even after the Panthers pounced at opportunities.
Other than the pick-six, Carolina’s points came off explosive plays - their other TDs were of 35, 33, and 43 yards. Those certainly cannot be taken away, but it’s not as if they controlled this remarkable LA defense. In other words, we don’t expect an Arizona offense led by Jacoby Brissett and Bam Knight (both backups) to replicate the performance.
We could certainly check out some player props for our Rams vs. Cardinals predictions, but to help you out on that front, let us explain why we’re keeping things basic. LA has made it known that they are intentionally splitting workloads amongst guys to stay healthy for what they consider should be a Super Bowl run.
For example, we saw Blake Corum rush for 81 yards on seven carries and a TD alongside Kyren Williams’ 72 yards on 13 carries and a TD. All that to say that we don’t feel like needing to try and read head coach Sean McVay’s mind for our Rams vs. Cardinals predictions. Instead, our best bet is simply LA -5.5 first half spread (-110 at Onyx Odds). Â

Rams vs. Cardinals Injury Report & Latest News
You saw that Kyren Williams came through for our best bet, but he was actually knocked out with an ankle injury just before that. He obviously returned, and truthfully, let’s talk about the extent of Rams vs. Cardinals injury news in LA.
As for Arizona, they’ve been hit hard, losing James Conner for the season, Kyler Murray is on IR, and even Marvin Harrison was questionable on Sunday (he still played). Emari Demercado also missed their game against the Bucs, but the big Rams vs. Cardinals injury news to monitor is Kyler Murray, as he is eligible to return.
