Buccaneers vs. Bills Predictions for NFL Week 11, Sunday 11/16
After a matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs that always has an AFC Championship Game feel, the Bills had a much more “chill” matchup with the Miami Dolphins. Well, now they have one that could be considered a Super Bowl preview, albeit perhaps not the most likely. Even still, Buccaneers vs. Bills predictions could prove crucial later in the year.
Not only are the Bucs tasked with back-to-back brutal matchups, but they’re now on the road for this one. Now that we’re into November, a team from Tampa Bay having to go to Buffalo is not exactly ideal. Weather aside, Josh Allen and the Bills present a challenge for any opponent, especially a banged-up one.
Unfortunately, some of the biggest storylines for the Bucs this year have been injury-based. They’ve been without Bucky Irving, Mike Evans, AND Chris Godwin, so if not for rookie Emeka Egbuka living up to the hype, they would be without all of their firepower. Even still, Baker Mayfield alone is sure to have fans focusing their Buccaneers vs. Bills picks on the road team.
However, the Bucs defense also allowed Pats QB Drake Maye to have a good enough performance that he is now the MVP frontrunner! That was Josh Allen not long ago, and truthfully, we expect his team to be the ones to bounce back at home. As for a best bet from our Buccaneers vs. Bills predictions, we’re taking a more specific approach.
Buccaneers vs. Bills Best Bet: Josh Allen Longest Rush Over 11.5 Yards (-125 at Onyx Odds)
If you watched the Bills get upset in Miami on Sunday, then you saw that the rain clearly affected the passing game. After that game, Buffalo returned home to snow for a few days, but come kickoff for this game, neither is expected. It certainly won’t be as warm as Tampa Bay, but good enough to back Josh Allen with our Buccaneers vs. Bills picks.
Before we get too far into things, if you have a way to pick Josh Allen to have both a passing TD and a rushing TD, that would be optimal. After all, he recently set the NFL record for such games, and he’s also done so in both of his games against the Bucs in his career. With that out of the way, let’s talk about where we’re looking to exploit things.
Buffalo has arguably the best offensive line, both blocking for the run and the pass, but will now be facing a Tampa defense that ranks top six in EPA/play against both. As for the Bills' defense, they are excellent against the pass but struggle against the run. However, the Bucs' biggest offensive struggle is blocking for the run.
As you can see, we have contradicting factors, making it more difficult for any Buccaneers vs. Bills predictions. What we’re going to target is one way in which Tampa’s great defense can be had - with explosive plays. Despite a strong run defense, we saw TreVeyon Henderson rush for 55 AND 69-yard TDs!
The line for James Cook is a bit higher than we’d like, but as for Josh Allen, he’s had rushes of 11+ in seven of nine games this year, six of which were 15 or more. We’ll call it now that this one will be a sweat, but we have Josh Allen longest rush over 11.5 yards (-125 at Onyx Odds) as the best bet from our Buccaneers vs. Bills predictions.

Buccaneers vs. Bills Injury Report & Latest News
We unfortunately had to note injuries before even fully diving into things, so let’s expand on the Buccaneers vs. Bills injury news. Starting with the banged-up Tampa squad, since we know Mike Evans is out, we need to monitor Bucky Irving, Chris Godwin, Haason Reddick (again), and now, Ben Bredeson.
Swapping to the Buffalo side of any Buccaneers vs. Bills injury news, we saw Dalton Kincaid and Landon Jackson both get injured on Sunday and not return. That’s along with Joshua Palmer, Taron Johnson, Christian Benford, and Shaq Thompson having all been ruled out beforehand.
