Another week of the 2025 NFL season has gone by, the NFL news and NFL injury report have been scoured and it's time to finalize our plays for the NFL Week 6 DFS Playbook. Hopefully, you tuned into this week's NFL DFS Show as we had a good discussion about the top DFS picks for this week, lineup construction, contest selection and what direction we plan to take to try and level the playing field against the lineup trains that have routinely invaded and ruined our cash game play. It's an evolutionary process, but not an insurmountable task. We don't have to be completely contrarian to cash, but if we use the NFL DFS Ownership projections properly, we can figure our way through this and come out on top.

Last week, we saw tremendous value at the running back position. We knew where everyone was going with guys like Rachaad White, Michael Carter and Emari Demercado. We also knew some were going to look at Sean Tucker, but we avoided that calamity. Hoping everyone would go in that direction, we landed squarely on Rico Dowdle. There were some questions and maybe a little pushback, but we held firm with our knowledge of Dave Canales' scheme and reaped the benefits to the tune of 206 rushing yards and a touchdown. Now, all week long, all we've heard about is Dowdle's revenge-game against the Dallas Cowboys and now everyone is all over it.

Once the mainstream talking heads jump onto a play, it's all over. Maybe that makes me a DFS hipster, but once the masses jump all over a play, I try to avoid it. Even when it's my fellow hosts on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio. I listened to numerous hosts bashing Dowdle all of last week and suddenly Monday morning it's all about how amazing he was and what he's now going to do this week to the Cowboys. Now that may be true and I'm happy to include him in my cash game lineups, but that's only because his results this week won't matter. When the ownership is that high, you're either keeping pace with the lineup trains or you're losing out completely. You gain no leverage. And that's what we're looking for this week – where we can leverage against the masses.

Again, if you watched the NFL DFS Show, then you know too, so let's let the whole #FAmily in on the secret!

As a reminder, all of our content, our tools and everything else that has made us the leading site for all of your fantasy football needs – seasonal and daily – are here and even more accessible.

We have also made some enhancements to our NFL tools. We continue to crunch the numbers and tweak our algorithms so that our daily fantasy football projections are the best in the industry and that, in turn, has improved things like our Lineup Generator/DFS Optimizer and our NFL DFS Ownership Projections. Again, all right here on one site for your convenience.

If you are new to the #FAmily, welcome! All the aforementioned tools are, obviously, at your disposal as well, but please allow me to point you towards more of the content and tools we provide to help you crush your DFS contests each week. It also makes for a nice introduction to our DFS team.

In addition to the positional coaches, you also have plenty of other research content to use like the weekly DFS Watch List, where I provide you with a daily-updated list of players I am looking at throughout the week. You will also want to watch our weekly NFL DFS Show with me and Jon Impemba as we break down every position, highlight our favorite plays, offer a core group of players to build around and then drop an example lineup into out NFL DFS channel on Discord.

For those looking for the DFS bargains, you'll see my weekly DFS Dart Board as well as Impemba's Value Plays video. And for those looking to separate themselves from the herd, we also have our Contrarian Plays video too.

Need more data? Craving more research? Many of our seasonal fantasy football articles also double as kick-ass DFS research. You have the WR/CB Match-Up Report from Drew Scott, full game previews from Mark Lammey and the team, Coop's Target Report and all of our fantasy football tools from snap counts to red zone touches.

That should cover it. Now let's get to the NFL Week 6 DFS Playbook picks!
