NFL Picks, Predictions & Best Bets for Week 12 Sunday, 11/23

We mentioned the games overseas above, and with the first-ever Spain game having featured the Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins last Sunday, they are two of the teams on bye this weekend. We also won’t see two AFC West teams - the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers - part of any NFL best bets for Week 12, either.

As for who WILL be on the field, perhaps the biggest matchup of the weekend involved yet another AFC West team. However, for once, it’s Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on the back foot at 5-5, going against the current #1 seed in the AFC - the Indianapolis Colts, just as everyone expected.

Although Colts vs. Chiefs may indeed be the matchup of the weekend, it’s not one that we’ve targeted with our NFL best bets for Week 12. 
 

 

 

NFL Week 12 Predictions: Sunday, November 23rd

Before we get into what did ultimately make the cut, there are certainly plenty of great matchups beyond that AFC showdown. The Steelers vs. Bears interconference clash was supposed to be Aaron Rodgers “owning” his former NFC North rival until suffering what has been labeled as a small break in his left arm.

Speaking of QBs, we found out Wednesday morning that Shedeur Sanders will officially get his first NFL start in the Browns vs. Raiders game. We’ve also got some mismatches on paper, like Seahawks vs. Titans and Patriots vs. Bengals. There’s actually another one that indeed made the cut for our NFL best bets for Week 12.

Another one is the premier NFC East rivalry of the weekend, so let’s go ahead and get into our top NFL picks for Sunday.
 

 

 

Eagles vs. Cowboys Best Bet: Javonte Williams Anytime TD (-105 at Rebet)

Where else could we possibly start other than a classic NFC East rivalry? Eagles vs. Cowboys kicked off the entire NFL season this year, and now, they’re kicking off our NFL best bets for Week 12. We’re going with a pick that hit with ease in that Week 1 matchup, which saw Javonte Williams score TWO rushing TDs.

We’re not saying that he’s at Jonathan Taylor's level, but after coming off a 22-carry game, it’s clear that the Cowboys want to feed him. That’s only part of why he made the cut in terms of our NFL best bets for Week 12. We’ve cashed this pick against the Eagles' defense in Weeks 3 through 7, and it’s about that time to start up another streak.

Their 11 total TDs allowed to the RB position isn’t as bad as, say, the Cincinnati Bengals, but it’s a unit that can certainly be had in terms of the Dallas RB simply finding the endzone once. You also know that this Philly defense is going to be prioritizing CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens after seeing them combine for 210 yards and two TDs.

Again, he did so twice in Week 1, so we’re kicking off our NFL best bets for Week 12 with Javonte Williams to score an anytime TD (-105 at Rebet). 
 

 

 

Giants vs. Lions Best Bet: Jahmyr Gibbs TD & Detroit ML (-130 at Rebet)

Next up is far from an intense divisional rivalry; we’ve got one of the biggest mismatches on paper that we could create. While we see the Detroit Lions heavily favored at home over the New York Giants, and rightfully so, we’ve made a combo play that we absolutely love for our NFL best bets for Week 12.

Just because it’s a game that isn’t expected to be close, it doesn’t mean that we can’t find value. We’re doing so with a focus on Jahmyr Gibbs. We did so with THREE of his props just two weeks ago, and he came through for those NFL picks with ease; he had 142 rushing yards, two TDs, along with three receptions, 30 receiving yards, and another TD!

He and the rest of the Lions are going to be as motivated as ever to bounce back after losing on Sunday Night Football to the Philadelphia Eagles, and we trust them to do so with relative ease. Jahmyr Gibbs should be the one leading the charge thanks to his dual-threat ability, and the Giants rank dead last in terms of defensive EPA per rush.
