🔥 NFL Picks, Predictions & Best Bets for the Championship Sunday
Just when we thought that nothing could top Wild Card Weekend, the Divisional Round provided us with two overtime games, back-to-back snow games, and more. It even led to the firing of Buffalo Bills former head coach Sean McDermott, which was due to their loss to the Denver Broncos.
However, that’s not even the news that will affect our NFL best bets for Championship Sunday. We’ve got an unprecedented situation - the Broncos will be hosting the New England Patriots WITHOUT starting QB Bo Nix! He broke his ankle just before the game-winning overtime field goal, which was a shock delivered by head coach Sean Payton in the post-game presser.
At least we know now that he won’t be part of our NFL best bets for Championship Sunday or any NFL expert picks, and for Denver, they’ll at least have Jarrett Stidham preparing as the starter all week.
⚡ Best NFL Championship Sunday Predictions
Although that is the silver lining for Broncos fans, it’s still not enough to where we don't expect to see the Pats back in the Super Bowl. It’s been an unreal turnaround under new head coach Mike Vrabel, going from 4-13 to 13-4. So, the question is, who do we think New England will face in Super Bowl 60?
The other matchup for NFL best bets for Championship Sunday is an NFC West rivalry of Rams vs. Seahawks. It comes on the heels of Seattle smashing the San Francisco 49ers 41-6 last Saturday, so as you can see, the division has taken over the entire conference. However, it hasn’t been easy sledding for Matthew Stafford and company.
The veteran QB may end up being the MVP this season, but they narrowly escaped the Carolina Panthers and needed overtime to get past the Chicago Bears. As for their games against the Seahawks this season, they were finishes of 21-19 and 38-37, so it’s safe to say that we’re in store for another thriller.
With that in mind, the pick from that game is the favorite from our NFL best bets for Championship Sunday!
🏅 Patriots vs. Broncos Best Bet: Denver Team Total Under 17.5 Points (Use Defensive Dabble Cards As Well)
Before we get into that game, we’re going to provide our picks in order. That means starting with the earlier game of Patriots vs. Broncos, which is much more volatile to break down. Again, we expect it to lead to another New England appearance in the Super Bowl, and speaking of which, this is also a familiar scene.
In 2014 AND 2016, these teams met in the AFC Championship Game. Surprisingly enough, Denver won both of those meetings, but we certainly won’t harp on those for our NFL best bets for Championship Sunday, given how long ago they were. With Bo Nix out of the picture, New England is quite a clear road favorite.
Given what we’ve seen in the playoffs thus far, we’d be remiss to ignore the weather. However, it’s forecasted to be sunny and in the mid-40’s with virtually no wind, or in other words, not a factor. Although that’s good news for Jarrett Stidham, we still have far more trust in this stout New England defense.
They’ve gotten stronger as the season has gone on, hence our NFL best bets for Championship Sunday, and much of that credit goes to Mike Vrabel. Not many teams can handle such a complex scheme, and the team getting back Christian Gonzalez from concussion concerns is massive for their success.
We may not see another five turnovers, but we’re still kicking off our NFL best bets for Championship Sunday with Denver’s team total under 17.5 points (pair with Dabble player cards).
🏅 Rams vs. Seahawks Best Bet: Sam Darnold To Throw An Interception (Use His Dabble Card)
There is no doubt that the earlier AFC matchup feels like the more difficult one to break down, but even without that factor, we’d still be loving NFL predictions for Rams vs. Seahawks. These NFC West rivals have provided us with two of the best regular-season games, and we fully expect a third epic clash.
In the first one, Sam Darnold came through for our best bet by soaring over his pass attempts prop (he had 44), and in doing so, took just about all the blame for the two-point loss. That’s because within those 40+ attempts, he threw FOUR interceptions! As you can see, that’s massive support for our NFL best bets for Championship Sunday.
As if that wasn’t enough, in their rematch, which Seattle won, he still threw two more picks! That’s six INTs in just two games, so Darnold was a huge contributor in LA, finishing the regular season with the fifth-most interceptions in the entire NFL! Let’s keep going - the Rams just picked off Caleb Williams three times in the Divisional Round.
Along with the QB having the third-most INTs this year and 20 total turnovers, we’re adding to our NFL best bets for Championship Sunday with Sam Darnold to throw an interception (add him to a Dabble lineup).
