Our NFL Week 14 continues on Monday Night Football with a double-header as Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers head to the Big Apple to take on the New York Giants, led by quarterback and cult-icon Tommy DeVito. Happening at the exact same time, Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and the rest of the Miami Dolphins play host to Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans. Both games have strong betting appeal, so before we dive in, it’s always good to know what the Week 14 betting trends looked like. If I told you that underdogs were 8-4-1 against the spread this week with six teams winning outright, does that change any initial or preconceived thoughts for tonight? If it affects your narrative or betting, keep those changes in mind when you lay out your player props as well. NFL Monday Night Football Best Bets: Green Bay Packers vs New York Giants

The Spread: Packers -6

We’ve got two teams both trending in the same direction as the Packers have won their last three and four of their last five while the Giants have won their last two games, the first time this season they’ve won two in a row. Both quarterbacks are in the limelight as well, though maybe for different reasons. Everyone is looking to see if Jordan Love continues to take steps towards being the next great Packers quarterback while Tommy DeVito is soaking up all the love and attention as he helps make Giants football more palatable here in a lost season. The big difference is that the pressure is all on Love. Nobody expects anything out of DeVito while everyone expects Love to be great in this soft match-up. But there’s some danger here as the Packers struggle against the run and Saquon Barkley makes up the majority of the Giants offense. On the other side, no Aaron Jones means another week of AJ Dillon and a less-than-stellar run game. The Giants have nothing to lose in this one and since this is a week for the dogs, we’re going to stay with them.

Pick: Giants +6 (-110)

The Total: 37

Unlike the Miami/Tennessee game, neither of these offenses is explosive enough for me to think we shouldn’t just go with the trend of unders on Monday Night Football. New York will run a lot with Barkley and chew up the clock. Packers coach Matt LaFleur has always been a run-first guy, so expect him to try and do the same. Love will eventually take over, but this just doesn’t profile as a big high-scoring affair. Besides, the under is 9-3 in Giants games this season and 6-6 in Packers games.

Pick: Under 37 (-110)
