Week 6 of the NFL season is here, and we will be turning our attention to the NFL DFS Week 6 main slate over on FanDuel. This week we are looking to break down some players who have seen their salaries rise or fall from the past week and determine if they are worth their new price tags or not. Players like Taysom Hill and Rhamondre Stevenson have seen their salaries rise after solid Week 5 games, but we have also seen a huge drop in the prices on Devin Singletary and James Robinson.  What do we do with these players as we build our DFS FanDuel lineups? Keep reading and make sure you are still checking out the fantasy football DFS player projections as well as checking out the NFL DFS lineup generator when building out your lineups.

DraftKings NFL DFS Week 6 Salary Risers

Taysom Hill, TE, NO - $1500 increase from Week 5 ($7.5K FD)

What one big game can do for your DFS salary! Taysom Hill gets the biggest price bump of the week ($1.5K) as he is now sitting at $7.5K FD and the third highest-priced tight end of the slate. Is Hill a smart play this week at this elevated price? It’s a tough question because he’s unlike the rest of the TEs on the slate as he is more of a wildcat quarterback and runner than a tight end. Hill is second in tight-end scoring in the RZ as he has converted four rushing attempts for 30 yards and four scores. There also is a risk due to the presence of Alvin Kamara and whether the Saints continue to scheme specific plays for Hill. He is now priced up with the big boys like Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews and is probably the only other TE that offers the same upside. A player like Hill, though, doesn’t have the floor of Kelce and Andrews but an enormous ceiling makes him a GPP-only play.

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, NE - $1500 increase from Week 5 ($7.5K FD)

Rhamondre Stevenson has seen his price increase a total of $2.3K since Week 1 on FanDuel and along with Hill gets the biggest bump of the week as he jumps to $7.5K FD – a $1.5K increase from Week 5. As the ninth highest-priced runner on the slate Stevenson can still be considered a strong point per dollar play with RB teammate Damien Harris reportedly in line to miss time with a hamstring injury.

The two were splitting time but after Harris went down with the injury during last week’s game against Detroit Stevenson stepped in and carried the ball 25 times for a career-high 161 yards. He is gaining 4.24 yards after contact with only Tony Pollard gaining more in the entire league (4.43) and this week faces a Browns defense that he torched for 100 yards and two touchdowns last season. With the expectation that Stevenson will get all of the early down work this week and a plus matchup against a defense that is allowing 5.3 yards per carry and 138.2 rushing yards per game- this is a play that is viable in all formats and making Stevenson one of the most popular RB plays of the week.

Cade Otton, TE, TB - $900 increase from Week 5 ($5.0K FD)

Tom Brady is throwing the ball at a league-high rate, and Cade Otton is their lone tight end with Cameron Brate out on concussion protocol. Last week, Otton played a 94% snap share, a team-leading 93% route share, and had 7 targets (13% target rate) for a breakout performance of six catches and 43 yards receiving. This is a player that already has a large role in the Bucs offense and has jumped over Kyle Rudolph on the team’s depth chart. If Brate remains out this week Otten will again become an every-down option on a Tom Brady offense, and we know what that usually means- fantasy goodness.

FanDuel NFL DFS Week 6 Salary Fallers

Devin Singletary, RB, BUF - $300 decrease from Week 5 ($5.7K FD)

If numbers tell the story, then this is the week to play Devin Singletary and he just happens to come with a $300 discount from Week 5. In games that the Bills win by a blowout, Singletary plays 56% of the snaps and 43% of the backfield touches with 2.5 targets per game while in close contests he has seen his playing time rise dramatically to 80% of the snaps and 70% of backfield opportunities with 7.5 targets per game (thanks to Jake Tribbey of FP for those numbers). This week’s matchup should be a close one as the Bills are -2.5 favorites on the road against the Chiefs- the first time in Patrick Mahomes career that he is a dog at home. This is a huge game for Buffalo and if the past weeks are any indication, then Singletary is massively underpriced.

James Robinson, RB, JAX - $1300 decrease from Week 5 ($6.7K FD)

James Robinson may slowly be losing his grasp as the top runner in Jacksonville and his Week 5 salary clearly adds weight to that notion. Robinson was $8K FD last weekend but failed to deliver as he rushed 10 times for 27 yards in the Jaguars 13-6 loss to Houston. Meanwhile, Travis Etienne gained over 100 yards from scrimmage and was easily the Jags’ best offensive player in the game.  Etienne has now out-snapped Robinson in consecutive weeks (53% to 43%) and the big-play former Clemson star is now the GPP play with the higher ceiling in Jacksonville. Even with a $1.3K discount, Robinson is a fade this week on FanDuel.
