The 2024 NFL season is finally here and that means we’ve got more opportunities to win some big money playing NFL DFS contests. The Fantasy Alarm #FAmily has seen some big GPP wins over the years and this season won’t be any different.

As you look to build your winning DFS lineups for GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contests, you have to get a little different. Everyone wants to play Tyreek Hill and Alvin Kamara here in Week 1 and while you can certainly use them yourself, you have to remember that being contrarian and using players with lower ownership is usually the difference-maker when it comes to taking down the big six-figure pots you crave.

 

 

If you use Hill in your lineup and he goes off for 40 points but is 60% owned, you’re not exactly separating yourself from the herd. But if you roster a player who scores 20 points and has an ownership percentage of less than 10%, that’s money in the bank.
