DFS Captain / MVP Picks

Scottie Barnes, TOR

(DK CPT - $15,600, UTIL - $10,400 / FD MVP - $21,300, UTIL - $14,200)

Barnes is Toronto's best fantasy asset by a significant margin. He fills up the stat sheet and averages 1.27 FP/min. He is live for a triple-double anytime he takes the floor, and he comes with 60-fantasy point upside.

Shaedon Sharpe, POR

(DK CPT - $12,900, UTIL - $8,600 / FD MVP - $17,400, UTIL - $11,600)

Sharpe has been the biggest beneficiary with Deni Avdija off the floor this season. He has a usage rate of nearly 36% and averages 1.13 FP/min. With Holiday and Grant presumably still on heavy restrictions, the Portland offense should flow through Sharpe.

Donovan Clingan, POR

(DK CPT - $10,500, UTIL - $7,000 / FD MVP - $15,600, UTIL - $10,400)

Clingan is a strong fantasy producer, and he could be in line for a larger role than usual with Avdilja likely to miss this game. He is an elite rebounder and should add some defensive points as well, which gives him plenty of ceiling for his price tag.

Brandon Ingram, TOR

(DK CPT - $14,400, UTIL - $9,600 / FD MVP - $19,200, UTIL - $12,800)

If Barrett returns, Ingram's potential ceiling will take a slight hit, and he might fit better in a UTIL spot. He's a very strong option for the top lineup spot if Barrett is out again, however. He has an excellent floor and will occasionally flash 50-fantasy point upside.

DFS Utility Picks

Immanuel Quickley, TOR

(DK CPT - $12,000, UTIL - $8,000 / FD MVP - $14,400, UTIL - $9,600)

Quickley is tougher to get to if Barrett suits up for this game. However, he's a great option if Barrett is ruled out and would even be in consideration for the top lineup spot.

Caleb Love, POR

(DK CPT - $8,100, UTIL - $5,400 / FD MVP - $7,800, UTIL - $5,200)

Love should see a significant boost in both playing time and production with Deni Avdija out. He proved himself very capable and earned a bigger role while Holiday and Grant were out of the lineup.

Sandro Mamukelashvili, TOR

(DK CPT - $7,800, UTIL - $5,200 / FD MVP - $10,200, UTIL - $6,800)

Keep an eye on the status of Murray-Boyles, who is questionable for this game. Mamu would be a bigger priority if CMB is ruled out, but he is very playable in any scenario. He's an excellent fantasy producer and is locked in for a significant role.

RJ Barrett, TOR

(DK CPT - $10,200, UTIL - $6,800 / FD MVP - $12,900, UTIL - $8,600)

Barrett is likely on a minutes restriction after missing the last seven games. He returned with 24 minutes after an even longer absence earlier this season, and he's playable if we see anything more than that. If nothing definitive is announced, the playing time expectation should be 24-28 minutes.
