As we've hit the final week of the NBA regular season I wanted to share with you the Playbook format we will be using throughout the NBA Playoffs. Like with our current MLB DFS Playbook, we will be moving to the “one-sheet” format for the NBA DFS Playoff content and continuing the transition from the past Playbook+Core Plays into this streamlined “one-sheet” moving forward.

Please provide any and all feedback in our discord as we want to make this the best product and experience for all of our FAmily members and so far the MLB DFS “one-sheet” has been met with very positive feedback.

So, with that said, let's breakdown the wall with today's eight-game NBA DFS main slate!

DFS Lineup Construction Thoughts

When it comes to our lineup construction here on the eight-game slate it's obvious we want to stack some of the higher scoring matchups which tonight features the Kings vs Dallas with a slate high 241.5 game total. We also see the Lakers vs Clippers contest having shot up to 232 after opening at 228.5. The Lakers vs Clippers make up our late-night hammer matchup with tip-off coming a full 90 minutes after the Kings and Mavericks start their game. Per usual, injuries will be playing a key role on this slate with top stars such as Jayson Tatum, Ja Morant and Trae Young questionable or doubtful to play while others such as Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, Tyrese Haliburton and Kristaps Porzingis are already ruled out to name a few. Those players being ruled out, along with some other rotational changes happening around the league will open enough value to help build your core lineups around a few of the top plays. With Giannis now ruled out, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton become elite plays against the Bulls.

Favorite Starters to Use for DFS Lineups

Russell Westbrook, PG Los Angeles Clippers

We've already established that point guards against the Lakers is the top matchup for guards on tonight's slate and with Paul George out of the lineup for the Lakers we've been getting the full Russell Westbrook experience with double-digit assists in four straight games. I expect that double-double upside to continue here against the Lakers tonight in one of the highest scoring games on the slate.

Update: With Giannis ruled out Jrue Holiday is firmly in paly as a core play tonight for all lineups

Quentin Grimes, SG New York Knicks

Something has snapped with Grimes over the past few weeks as the man has been a fantasy point machine. Over the past four games alone he is averaging 36 FP. Tonight, both Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle are already ruled out and RJ Barrett is questionable to play with an illness. This is a great matchup for the Knicks is a huge pace up spot against a Pacers team that is already missing Tyrese Haliburton and could be without Myles Turner as well.

Saddiq Bey, SF Atlanta Hawks

DeAndre Hunter has already been ruled out and both Trae Young and Bogdan Bogdanovic are questionable to play for Atlanta tonight. The Hawks face a Washington team that is down four starters in their own right. Bey has been starting for Hunter for the past few games and he has scored 30+ fantasy points in four straight contests.

Update: With Giannis ruled out Khris Middleton is firmly in play as a core play tonight for all lineups

Bobby Portis, PF Milwaukee Bucks

It may seem too simple but with Giannis ruled out we just pivot ourselves to Bobby Portis who has double-double upside and will play 30+ minutes here tonight against the Chicago Bulls.

Robert Williams, C Boston Celtics

Williams has been out of the lineup a bit recently for Boston but with the Celtics on a back-to-back and Al Horford already ruled out we see Williams off the injury report and could very well start for the Celtics here tonight. He is a pretty inexpensive play for the slate and while he likely isn't seeing 30 minutes there is a case that he could play 25 minutes here in this spot against the Raptors.
