NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Wednesday Playbook

Happy Monday, March 19th, we have a 11-game NBA DFS main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel.

The stars are out as Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, Cade Cunningham, and Anthony Edwards are taking the floor. Some names that are questionable are Nikola Jokic, Tyrese Haliburton, Josh Giddey, Jamal Murray, and Pascal Siakam. Ja Morant, Shai Gilgeous Alexander, and Domantas Sabonis are already out.

Before actually diving into the meat and potatoes, welcome to the NBA DFS season. If this is your first time reading our column on NBA DFS picks, I just want to welcome you and give you a few tips and tricks on what you should be looking for each night.

• News outlets: reliable sources that give us injury news & starting lineups
• Pace of play: who's playing fast vs. who's playing slow. Which teams get a pace-up spot (more possessions) vs. pace-down (fewer possessions)
• Usage rates: is a percentage of how many plays that player is being used in

Pre/Post-Lock Update

This section will be used for anything that changes from the morning until right up to roster lock.

4:40 pm ET

• Darius Garland has been ruled OUT.
• I expect Isaac Okoro to start in place of Darius Garland (no he's not any sort of primary option)
• Evan Mobley leads the team at 1.52 FP/min, also has a 25% USG; core play
• Donovan Mitchell should start at PG, has 25% AST, 34.5% USG, 1.37 FP/min; core play
• Ty Jerome 25% USG, 1.2 FP/min; very solid, value play for sure
• De'Andre Hunter 17% USG, 1.01 FP/min, should come off bench

6:08 pm ET

• Tyrese Haliburton is OUT.
• Pascal Siakam has a 23.7% USG, 1.1 FP/min. Top play from Indiana. Bennedict Mathurin, Andrew Nemhard, Aaron Nesmith are secondary plays.
• If Mathurin starts, I'd consider him more heavily.

6:08 pm ET

• Klay Thompson & Brandon Williams are OUT while Jaden Hardy and Kai Jones are IN.
• Dallas has EIGHT players available.
• Spencer Dinwiddie should play upwards of 40 minutes, he's a core play.
• Naji Marshall, because of his minutes & role is definitely an interesting pivot away from a chalkier Josh Hart at the same price. (GPPs)
• If Jaden Hardy starts, that's interesting (if no minutes limit)

6:10 pm ET

• Andrew Wiggins is OUT, but Alec Burks is in.
• As long as Jaime Jaquez. is starting, I have interest (and so does the field)
