Happy Saturday NBA friends! We are just one day away from Super Bowl 58, but for today, the NBA is front and center with a seven-game slate. We have some very intriguing matchups as well with some star power. We have Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers taking on the Jalen Brunson-led New York Knicks. Then a little later, we have Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns traveling to the Bay to take on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. Now, let's dive into the seven-game DFS main slate for today.

Top Tier Core Plays

Kevin Durant, PF, Phoenix Suns

With Devin Booker out with an injury in the last game, KD had a big game. He finished with 61 fantasy points going 14-23 from the floor posting 31-7-8. That was the second time in his last five games in which he scored over 60 fantasy points. Booker isn't on the injury report tonight, but he has been more passive as of late. With Durant going up against his former team, he is the Suns star I want tonight against GSW.

Stephen Curry, PG, Golden State Warriors

Chef Curry is coming off a huge game in a massive pace-up spot against the Pacers. He finished with 42 game points in just 30 minutes on the back of an 11-16 shooting performance from behind the arc. Curry has been great as of late, and he hasn't had to play over 30 minutes in each of his last two games because they have been blowouts. This game should be competitive all the way through, giving Curry a massive ceiling with the way he has been shooting it.

Jalen Brunson, PG, New York Knicks

Brunson is questionable heading into this game with an ankle injury that caused him to sit out his last game. Without Randle in the lineup, Brunson is the clear alpha in the offense. His usage goes from 29% to 36% and he averages six more points per game. We could see Bojan Bogdanovic suit up for the Knicks along with Alec Burks who were recently acquired at the trade deadline.  Make sure to stay up-to-date on injury news by joining our discord.

Alperen Sengun, C, Houston Rockets

The Rockets are on the second night of a back-to-back after losing to the Toronto Raptors last night. It was a weird game for Alperen Sengun who only played 21 minutes and finished with just 16.25 fantasy points. I like that he only played 21 minutes, as he should be fresh in a massive pace-up spot against the Hawks. $9,200 is expensive for Sengun, but he should return value with Fred VanVleet out of the lineup.

Note: Sengun has been ruled out tonight.

Tyrese Maxey, PG, Philadelphia 76ers

The 76ers are another team who are on the second night of a back-to-back. However, Tyrese Maxey was unable to suit up with an illness. If he is back tonight, he is a lineup lock for me without Joel Embiid. He is in a massive pace-up spot against the Washington Wizards who are also on the second night of a back-to-back.

Mid-Tier Core Plays

Pascal Siakam, SF/PF, Indiana Pacers

I like this matchup for the Pacers and Pascal Siakam. This Knicks team could be acclimating new pieces into their rotation after the trade deadline. This should cause some confusion for the Knicks, especially on the defensive side of things. On top of that, the Knicks front line is very thin with Mitchell Robinson, and Isaiah Hartenstein out with injury. Siakam thrives in transition and at the rim, so this is lining up to be a good one for him.

Jaren Jackson, PF/C, Memphis Grizzlies

Jaren Jackson is not on the injury report for the Memphis Grizzlies tonight. They are however still missing Ja Morant, Marcus Smart, and Desmond Bane. With all those injuries Jackson is the guy. In his last six games played, he has scored over 20 game points. He is going up against an awful Charlotte team that is adding some new pieces. Jare Jackson should dominate this game, even in a low-scoring affair.

Brandon Miller, SG/SF, Charlotte Hornets

Brandon Miller is really coming into his own during his rookie season. He has scored over 20 game points in six of his last seven games. During that span, he has also finished with over 50 fantasy points in three of those seven games. The matchup isn't a great one against the Grizzlies as it could be low-scoring, and he is a bit expensive sitting at $7,700. However, he still has a 50-point ceiling tonight, so he should be in play.

Precious Achiuwa, PF/C, New York Knicks

With how thin the Knicks are upfront Precious Achiuwa is taking full advantage of it. The man has played at least 40 minutes in five straight games and has gotten up double-digit shot attempts in four of those five games. He also has a massive rebounding ceiling while playing those minutes as well, with him sitting under 7K still, I am in on precious tonight.

Brandin Podziemski, PG/SG, Golden State Warriors

Podz got the start for the Warriors in his last game with Klay Thompson sitting out. It really doesnt matter if he comes off the bench or starts, the kid just produces. He has scored at least 33 fantasy points in four of five games, because of the counting stats he gives you. He has at least five rebounds in seven straight games and at least five assists in five of those seven games. Play Podz in a good matchup against the Suns.

Paul Reed, C, Philadelphia 76ers

Well, I was more in on Mo Bamba on Wednesday when I did the playbook, and boy was I wrong. Reed has now played over 30 minutes in back-to-back games and produced at least 30 fantasy points in each. He isn't going to score a ton, but he is going to crash the boards as he has had 21 rebounds over the past two. under 6K, I think he is a solid play tonight.

Jabari Smith, PF, Houston Rockets

Jabari Smith's price at just $5,600 on DraftKings is super juicy in a massive pace-up spot against the Wizards. He has played 33 and 40 minutes in back-to-back games. We know Smith can score, but he has also rebounded the ball in the last two games grabbing 19 rebounds. That really helps his floor each night if that continues. Smith will be locked into my lineup tonight in a game that should be competitive.

Value Tier Core Plays

Scotty Pippen Jr., PG, Memphis Grizzlies

If Scottie Pippen continues to start for the Grizzlies, he should probably be in your lineups sitting at just 5K. He has scored at least 29 fantasy points in four straight games. Not only can he score the ball from behind the arc shooting 61% from downtown in his last three games, but he can dish the rock as well. He has dished out at least four assists in six straight games played. At his price, you might as well take him if he starts.

Update: Pippen Jr. is inactive tonight, Jacob Gilyard is in play now, but Derrick Rose is active tonight as well.

Buddy Hield, SG/SF, Philadelphia 76ers

Hield played a prominent role in his first game with the 76ers last night. With all the injuries and Tyrese Maxey sitting, Hield played 40 minutes. That gives me some caution playing that many minutes on the front end of a back-to-back, but the matchup may be too good to pass up. If you need someone around that 5K range, Hield is a fine play.

Dillon Brooks, SG/SF, Houston Rockets

Dillon Brooks has been very effective for the Rockets in the last two games without FVV. He has scored over 20 game points in each game and scored over 30 fantasy points in each. In a very good matchup against the Hawks, the only downside for Brooks is he is on the second night of a back-to-back. But in a fast-paced game, I expect him to still keep getting up shots, so I will be riding with him tonight.

Corey Kispert, SF/PF, Washington Wizards

I hit on Corey Kispert on Wednesday night against the Cavaliers when get finished with 36 fantasy points. Well, he topped that last night finishing with 45 fantasy points in just 24 minutes. He is still priced under 5K, which I will be all over again tonight.
